~Crossover Cove: OOC Thread 2.0~

Hey guys, I'm gonna be gone for a five days so I shall leave my characters in DT, Heartless, and whoever else wants to use them or needs them for something

 

Few things to mention.

I'm addressing the AMV collab I've been asked about. if you some of you are interested in doing such a project I'm going to lay out the framework now. Firstly, SmashFan is the one who's asked to lead it, he's got a song picked out("World Without Logos"). Either we're going to go about it that way, or we can do a multi song collab.
Before we get any further into this, I'd like to know how many people are interested in participating. Next I want you to vote on whether you'd like to do a one song collab(you may present a different song of choice to be voted on later), or a multi song collab where everyone has a different one.
I'd love to start a project like this with everyone, so feel free to present ideas so we can figure out how we want to do it.

Next, the OP has been updated looks wise. New banners and sub banners have been added for a sleeker design. This isn't really important current matters wise, but I thought I'd let you know because I avoided sleep to mess with it.

Lastly, I've got to get up in 4 hours to go to college, so when i return I'll probably just sleep for awhile. Heads up that I won't be on as much until Thursday, if you need anything urgently answered ask DT or our newest Cove Staff member, Bushy.

Bushy is now one of my Hyenas, Ed, because he can't ban you like DT(who is Shenzi, yes. And no, I didn't ask to call him that before making this post). Regardless you need to listen to his words of wisdom like you always do, he's got rules named after him for a reason. Can't think of anything else to mention, so keep on covintm everyone~

 

I'd like to be a part of the AMV collab, but I'd say a multi song one since we have many different kinds of characters and not all of them are compatible with every song, which would make it difficult for some people. That being said, if we could find a song that is compatible with most, if not all, the kinds of characters we have, then that's fine too.

 

I would like to be part of the AMV Collab, but I would have agree with HoT on doing on a song that works all or most of the characters, though I like the idea of trying a multi song one.

Great! I mean... I'd guessed th-- nevermind.
So, I think we should do a multi-song AMV(Because World without Logos is epic... but we're going to need more than that).
SO!... how the heck to I contribute again? The best I can do is idea's, suggestions and links to stuff... I can't make AMV's myself.

 

Doesn't your computer have some kind of movie making program on it? I mainly use WMM (Windows Movie Maker) for my AMVs, though I can only so much with it. BTW, did anyone watch my new AMV for the Cove?

 

I can't figure out Window's Movie Maker at all. That, and I'm constantly telling myself that nothing I ever do will be good, but that's just me.

 

On the topic of the AMV collab, I'll certainly be participating, but I do agree with the others in that it should be multi-song. Everyone has different tastes in music, and their portions of the AMV would probably have different styles of characters. Like Aerith's, for example, (Which was really good by the way) seems like a lighter-toned song, while mine would be heavier, as that's the kind of moozik I like. But I don't think every portion should use the full song. That'd make the AMV too long, in my opinion. Though that's usually a requirement of AMV collabs anyway.

Also, Congrats on making Cove Staff, Levi! Our plans are slowly reaching completion!

 

Multi-song Collab?
What songs do you people have in mind?

 

I think the individual songs should remain secret until the collab is done, but Heartless has already described the type of songs that may be used.

 

What's the fun in telling others what songs we're using? Like DT said, it's better and more fun to keep them secret until the collab is finished. And HeartlessofLight made a great point in pointing out everyone's unique style and tastes. The each portion should be about a minute a piece, right?

 

As in everyone would pick their own song and the different AMVs would be put together. Opinion seems to be leaning toward that idea.

Right, thank you for remind me. We'll start with the general length for each person's AMV being around 1 minute. We can talk out if that's good, if we'd like to extend it, etc. Cases could be made to have additional time if need be.

Just to make sure, does everyone want to get clips of all the characters they can fit in? Like Alucard, who is played by Droid, and Vash, who is played by me.

 

If length of each person's section of the collab is a problem then impose a rule of how long they can be. I say about a minute each would be enough.

I imagine that's what everyone plans to do. But since the clips I plan to use briefly show other people's characters, they'll be in there too.

Ok, so I still want to participate in the AMV Collab. HOWEVER, I'm starting school next week. I'd like to ask for a bit of an extension, I'd need this week and the next. Is this ok?
