I stoped watching DB after like the beining of the Buu Arc.

Also, Dragon Ball characters are some of the most overpowered in fiction.

You skipped the Buu Saga. Imo, that was the best Saga of them all.

This. I will never regard GT as being true canon.
It was already confirmed by Akira Toriyama that Dragonball was meant to end after the Z series.
The original true ending was meant to be the Cell Saga, but fans wanted more, so it was stretched to finish after Buu.

GT was a follow up project that doesn't actually fit into the true Dragonball canon.
But meh.

As far as I'm concerned. Pan was the best thing about GT... purely because of how adorable she was.
SS4 Gogeta was awesome too... but meh.

But there were so many plot holes. If you think about it, If a sayan had already achieved his super form, gone ape, then transform again, would that still make it a super saiyan 4? If they never reached stage 2 it would then be titled super saiyan 2. It was also never explained if only true blood saiyans could achieve this form and if females even had the ability to turn super. Transforming from the beginning was meant to be from a large emotional desire. Women always have large emotional desires so does it have to be really serious? Also, when Bulla and Pan were charging their energy in two separate occasions, it gave them both a super saiyan cloak. I just hated everything about GT. gah

 

I never said Baby was the best, I said he was one of the few good things. Now if I told you who I thought was best you guys would say I'm kissing up >.>

 

I will say the best thing about that series is the character I am reserving

Majuub was a tease. The idea of Uub and Fat Buu transforming was good...but even after that he went down fast

 

I still loved him. He was my second favorite character to use in Budokia Tekaichi 3...

There weren't too many really.
First of all... The series already explained about the going Ape and reaching super saiyan 4.
The characters needed to be at a certain level before it was possible. A level that they had only reached in GT. That's why it never happened before that point, and even then Goku was the only one to reach it properly alone. Vegeta needed a special machine to help him.

It wouldn't have been titled super saiyan 2, because they'd never have reached 4 without the power they had needed, which is what allowed them to reach the prior forms anyway.

Also, female super saiyans and the like... it has been explained as I will show here:

Right from the creators mouth (uh... writing hand).

They completely did have the potential, they were just never given the incentive.
Saiyans need a strong desire to transform.
Goku's was after Krillin had been killed.
Vegeta's was his desire and rage about being left behind by Goku and wanting to catch up.
Future Trunks was after future Gohan had been killed.
Gohan was made to imagine all his loved ones dying to force him to transform.
Goten and Trunks... were never explained properly. There have been several theories and the like though. (despite the other jokes about how easy it was for them etc - so maybe that does count as a slight plothole, but yeah) Goten and Trunks were always claimed to be prodigies anyway. So that could have something to do with it.

Now, Bulla definitely never had the incentive since her life was more sheltered.
And despite all their travelling, Pan never really had a need to transform either. There may have been one or two times that could have been possible due to emotional stress, but in the end, Goku or Trunks would usually come along and save the day anyway.

As for them having Super Saiyan cloaks. I forget which time you mean, but there have been other times that Saiyans charging their energy ended up with the Super Cloak too whilst not having access to that form. It might have suggested they were close to transforming (had potential too or whatever) but they obviously never got to go far enough or whatever.

But yeah.
I'm not defending GT since I still don't think it's true canon really. But considering a number of those 'plot holes' as you called them had been explained already. I had to as an Otaku cover those issues... XD

 

Wow, and to think all this started when a simple manga-ka wrote a story based on one of the characters from the Journey to the West story as well as being loosely based on, a.k.a. Saiyuki. As for me, I prefer Saiyuki, Goku in that one is much better, as well Cho Hakkai and the other main characters.

As I already said; GT has explicitly been stated to be non-canon. All of its events were made purely for audience entertainment, and did not actually happen in-universe.
Also you're all wrong, the best thing about GT was Vegeta's moustache.
