I did indeed reserve Mecha Sonic. With the amount of characters I have, I find it hard to remember them all when I update my lists. My mistake.

 

Yes, as it happens, I do remember quite often when somebody reserves somebody. It's part of my job here in Cove, so that when disputes such as this arise, I can easily inform people of it. Mecha Sonic is taken by Nick/HeartlessofLight. I was the one that talked to him about reserving the character in the first place.
Silver Sonic is perfectly fine, but when somebody says that a character is taken, do not try to argue with it.

When you have such a huge role with and spend a lot of time in the RP among the other RPers, yes. Such knowledge does stick in your mind.
Most of us (still) here have been a part of the cove since the RP began or have been from very early in it's creation. Since we all care about the RP so much, it's a simple fact that we tend to remember such information. It's not hard unless someone has a bad memory, and considering a lot of us don't, and further more that more than one of us are remembering the same thing anyway. We definitely do know whether they're taken or not.

Having an attitude about it won't change that the character has been reserved.
This late into the RP (since Cove has been around since January...), it's only natural that such a huge number of characters have been taken, especially some of the more popular ones.
Just taking characters without heed of the other RPers and contesting reserves is no way to go about doing things.
After all, if the time came when you had a character reserved well in advance, and somebody tried to take them from you, I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it either.

Again, I'll express that we're all people here. (Except me... who is a genie according to Droid, and a little girl according to HoT). A little consideration for everyone else will go a long way, eh?

I reserved Yoh Asakura yesterday. I hope people realise that Amidamaru, Yoh's guardian ghost is reserved by extention.

 

I apologize for complaining so much really. Stress and all recently. I was trying to join the cove to see If i could relieve some stress. Again, really sorry. I will stop being a butt about that matter.

Now, those other characters I asked about reserving a the one I want to use, can someone clarify for me if they are taken or not?

 

I will ask again; will everyone slow down their posting? RPing is difficult for several people right now due to the lack of features. We don't want to have to skim through 50 pages just to catch up on a couple of days.

Anyway, it seems we're slowly drawing closer to a repeat of last time. I certainly hope it doesn't reach that point.

We're not going to individually approve of every single character everybody brings in. It would take too much time and effort. Suffice to say that if we don't say you can't have them, then you can.

That is true, and I didn't mean to sound aggressive, but in this RP, there are a lot of characters being taken at all times, and there isn't really anybody that can be here 24/7 to accept. Once you as a person are accepted, you can generally assume that all characters will be unless they're taken already.
You do still have to do character sheets for them though, unless you're Bushy, who gets around the system by being a godmod.

Albeit, I do want to say in my defence that I at least submitted the OC forms for Mina and Simone. XD

 

I did do CS for the characters I am currently using, I did not do ones for reserved characters. I figured I would once I start using them.

 

Yep, that's how everyone does it, more or less. Except BIU. He does the forms whenever he reserves.
