I don't think that's really possible. 90% of the cast have barely been on Disgaea for a day, it's the first night right now, nobody would have been able to band together and take a mission like that already.

Okay, somebody please tell me what reapers are. I looked on the wiki about it and I am still confused to what they really are. I don't know if I can fight one/ kill one or be completely outmatched.

The Reapers are like the Harbringers of Destruction, no human or any other character be it Gods or Goddesses (Except Bushy) can singlehandly bring them down.

Bushy is the only one who can kill Reapers by himself.

That... didn't help me at all. Are they the space ships, the weird glowing zombie looking guys, the mini rancores? or are They everyone of those.

 

Not entirely true. Some people can take Reapers on alone, but they're few and far between. Yuri Eberwein is just about the only one I can think of off-hand.

Those ships aren't ships. Those are the Reapers.
