~Crossover Cove: OOC Thread 2.0~

Let's hope that it gets fixed when they're finished...Because I'd hate to have the cove get all effed up over this update.

I will say; if things do get to the point where Cove can't function as it did, me and Bushy know how to and would be willing to make a different forum to host it on. If everything gets fixed though, we won't.

 

What in blazes.. did they shrink, or did we actually loose posts? I need to talk to Jayn later, if anyone on staff would be able to help it be her. I have to assume some of her work has been messed with as well.

*Update on the first page, I fixed the spoilers, but for whatever reason I can't stop them from duplicating. They work though.

 

As Bushy said, there's more posts per page now, that's all.

The forum is now taking 20 posts per page.
We've not lost posts, it's just with 20 posts per page, the page count has lowered.

The default page count on the last forum was 10 per page see?

I thought that was the case, but I'm a bit scattered and just saw Aeirth's post. Long day made more hectic by getting on here..
I do wonder if that means the limit of posts per thread has been upped, that be nice.

We don't. If we want to move forums, me and Bushy will make one for it, but Cove will never move to the site you're talking about.

 

I figured as much. Just my two cents to try and help deal with this.

I believe it's still 5000 posts per thread.
On the last forum, you could have it be 20 posts per page too if you wanted. It's the posts that count. Not the pages. :/
So yeah, it's likely a new thread will still be needed to be made.

Well I'd rather not have to move to a new forum, but I'm very happy to know you and DT could mange to make a new home for the cove if that eventually has to happen. It means allot.

 

I'd prefer to avoid it too in all honesty, but yeah.
It'd be possible.
From the way things are going though. It seems things will be fixed here in a bit of time. So let's just see how these go first.

 

Yeah, even the pins are going to survive. I should probably just go hibernate for a few days, fairly certain I've gone more scatterbrained than usual.

Actually I think you can, if you hover over your name at the top of the screen a tab will slip down with a checkbox to click if you want to be shown online or not.
