Chain of Memories Created or Guided by Namine

Did that clip mean that Namine created Castle Oblivion or did she guide Sora to it? Or could it be both? We still have yet to know where Castle Oblivion comes from, so this is plausible.

Wasn't Marluxia just conducting research on Namine there?
Maybe Sora just happened to get too close and when Marluxia found out, he decided to use him against the organization

 

I see. Well, if Xemnas found Castle Oblivion THEN Namine was found and sent there, then Namine couldn't have created it. Thank you for clearing that up.

 

Apparently, the Castle Oblivion existed prior to Namine's creation. She ended up being found there and was taken prisoner by the Organization. It's also there that the Organization was working on understanding memories so Namine showing up may have either been the inspiration for the study or she popped up there and was ideal for it. That is the only unclear part about the Castle Oblivion really: Whether Namine showing up motivated the study of memories or whether they were conducting memory research prior to her showing up. I'm pretty sure by the notes given so far about her that she appeared in the Castle Oblivion and that she did not create it.

In CoM, it was Namine at first who began to lure Sora towards the castle's direction because she was lonely and felt connected to the Keyblader. However, Marluxia discovered what she was doing and was determined to turn this to his favor. So he went and finished the job of encouraging Sora down the right path to the Castle Oblivion. Namine, of course, has connection to Sora because of being Kairi's Nobody that was formed after Sora used the Dark Keyblade to free Kairi's heart from his own. So in the end, Namine does start to lead Sora to her whereabouts and Marluxia took control over the process and used the girl's ability as he saw it was a way to take over the Organization.

 

Um...thanks Repliku. I wasn't fully comprehending where the whole tie in was between Castle Oblivion, Namine, and Xemnas. Do we know where Castle Oblivion came from though? Like who made it?

 

not much is known about it.the org don't know who created it.they just found it.

 

If Naminé created the castle, then why would she be a prisioner of her own castle?
It's because of the Organization trapping her?

Naminé isn't a bad guy.She is just misguided.She has powers but, they aren't violent..So the organization held her in castle oblivion;which Sora fell into the trap and made him believe about all these memories that didn't exist, like Vexen said he almost became a slave of his own "forgotten memories."
Naminé didn't guide him there.
In fact, Pluto did.
The road Sora,Donald and Goofy were traveling on did.
Marluxia and the other organization members just made him come deeper into the castle so that they could wrap him around in a world that never happened.A LIE.
SO they would finish him in his effort to keep his 'promise to Naminé' which, in reality was the promise he made to Kairi.
I picked up throughout the game,most of game..that the lies put together were often messed up versions of Kairi+Sora cutscenes.Naminé pretty much erased Kairi and added herself.
Sora eventually;lost his sight of why he was even there in the first place.
Because he forgot Kairi and then wanted to save Naminé.

IN conclusion,Naminé was forced to lure Sora,by the organization.
