Country or Rock & Roll?

I admit, I'm a fan! :D

So what do you like better? Rock & Roll or Country?
Even if you don't like both styles, please pick one from the poll.

 

Rock n' Roll, simply because I'm a bigger fan of the fast-pace electric guitar over a soothing acoustic.

 

Country makes my ears bleed and bores my brain, I can hardly stand it. Rock.

 

Am I the only one on KH-vids who likes Country more?
Meh... oh well, can't have everything, can ya?

I actually like both equally but I voted for country since no one votes for it.

 

country is the best for me & rock&roll, but mostly country

 

rock and roll is better. mostly because it is faster pace and isn't so winey.

Rock: Hardcore emotion and skill.
Country: Greeting-card lyrics pasted on to a watered-down pop background.

What really disgusts me is that country tries to make itself seem traditional. Bluegrass is traditional. Jazz is traditional. Country? Not so much.

Rock 'n Roll

I just don't like country, and I absolutely love rock.

Truth right here.

 

Rock for sure. I really don't like most country songs. I can name only a handful of artists, most from the past like Kenny Rodgers or Johnny Cash, that I actually enjoy their music. Rock 'n' Roll just moves me so it's where it's at.

 

rock ftw.i can't stand country.it bores me,and everytime i hear it,i lose iq points,no joke.rock is way better for sure.

 

And...Rock WINS! :D. No offense to country, but it get's boring after listening to it for a minute. No joke..

 

I used to really like Country, but now the only country artist I listen to is Carrie Underwood. I'm more of a rock girl now.

I listen to almost anything, but I'm a Rocker all the way. Nothin better :)

Rock and Roll baby! I love how it sounds and puts you in a mood that energizes your body and mind. It makes you want to dance, but not like techno. Rock and Roll will never die especially the golden oldies since that generation had a some classics and was the birth of rock and roll.

 

I agree. It starrted with the 50's and then led up to the 80's and is still going on to this very day. More people can also relate to it. County is ok, but after a while it tends to get on my nerves especially if it is the twangy kind.
