I know. I feel like this could easily go wrong, but I also keep thinking it would be a more rewarding victory for the final post to be there, like if we all waited in the thread and had the staffy responsible for merging the two to tell us when exactly they are doing it, then we could crush the thread before anyone has a chance to check their alerts; especially since they seem to be responding slower now -- getting burnt out from it.
