Close enough, It is binary.
For decimal you keep going up to 9 before you roll over to the next digit. That is referred to as base 10 because you have 10 characters if you include 0. Binary is the same idea but it is base 2 (you only go up to 1).
Though when you really want to confuse people, doing math in hexadecimal is the way to go. That is base 16 so you need 6 characters past what decimal uses, A-F. For example...
