'Revise your post' reminder

If someone in a thread posts while you're replying to it, after sending it to be posted, a box should appear above the reply form saying something like:
"Someone posted while you were replying, consider revising your post"

This would help in some of the more fast-paced thread I've seen in the spamzone and a few other places.
I'm not sure whether this would be possible for vBulletin, though I have seen it on another forum that isn't on vB.

 

I know Valenth has this in their forums where if you're replying it wil say 'At least one new post has been made, you may consider revising in light of this.'

Valenth is a PHBB forum though. ._.;

 

We've had like 5 threads about this already lol. Its been decided that you either edit your post or just hit the preview button.

 

Plus, is that even a possibility to have on the forums?

 

As was said on the other posts of the very same topic, the only way to check is to hit the 'preview post' button and if someone posted before yours would go 'walla' you see it. That's all that has to be done so no, nothing can really be implemented regarding this and there is no need. That's really all you have to do and then hit submit right after if nothing is posted, or go back and edit the post and then post it after if there was.
