ok, i've come to learn that over the time being here, colored names represent different things (blue+bold = super mod, pink = premium, etc.) is it possible to make a colored title for amv makers? I mean, it would kind of make sense wouldnt it? Its like the coder's title. on the front page of kh vids there's a coder video, showing cool things done with kingdom hearts...an amv is also shown on the front page for people who had the best amvs during the week...maybe people who "win" 1st place would get a title? (or another suggestion)

    I could see it working...

I could see it working, too... I mean, it'd add more color to the site, and AMV making is very popular on this site... I think that'd be a great idea! ^-^

lol Blue and Bold means Admin, Purple is S.Mod...

As for the suggestion: I say no. The only reason Coders have special powers and an orange name is because things got out of hand in the code vault once or twice.

Why should AMV makers get special priveleges?

What would they contribute to the forums?

We already have the top 5 which honors AMV makers every week...

I really don't see the point or the usefullness,
in fact, I can imagine people rioting if it got implemented...

Besides, we're running out of colors.

Soon enough everyone will be making AMVs and getting colored titles! Hurray!

If you mean like 'AMV Master' or something like that...maybe. But If you just give It to people who win top five every week, KHV will be a rainbow. Err..Not that I have any problems with rainbows but we already had people complaining about the white skin o.o; I don't think those who like dark colors would appreciate It much.

i dn't think its a good idea.. because any old person can make them... in fact i've made a few.. it's not really hard to do and then there will be WAY to many AMV threads

As much as I am for distinctive groups having colors this doesn't seem really that great to do in this case. There are a lot of AMV makers but it's not really doing anything of work for the site such as what admins, coders and mods do. If we did this then people would want colors for other things too that individualize them and though I do love to see the amazing work some of you guys do, because I know I don't have the time and am not that good, I think it would be not quite right to assign a color to it. There already is, as someone mentioned, a competition for the top 5 spots weekly so that is also an attention and I hope it's something worthy enough.

I agree with what ~Amber~ and what Repliku said. If it serves no useful service to the forum and it's members, then it would serve no purpose at all. Premium is different, because it's something that makes people want to post even more which makes the forum very active. And what would this thing your suggesting do for the forum? Make people feel like their special just because they can make AMVs when anyone could do that and serves no purpose at all. Sorry, but I say no.
