Birth by Sleep Could be evidence of Terra becoming Xemnas spoilers

Could be a diffrent version...358 days shows organization members having diffrent versions of their weapons like keychains. Terra being Xemnas/Xehanort though? Makes so much sense, would even explain the armor scene. They even have similar haircuts...

I'm saying that the Lingering Sentiment isn't Terra. It could possibly be Terra's "Absent Silhouette." But since "lingering" and "absent" are opposite of each other, it exists unlike the Organization's Absent Silhouettes, which were mere shadows of the original. That's why it could talk. This is what's left of Terra, but not enough to actually be him which is why it isn't Terra. And as Xemnas said: "Anger and hate are supreme." That's all that the Lingering Sentiment feels.

As for how I think Xehanort lost his memories: If he was Terra (and that's a big IF), the Lingering Sentiment has them and those memories have faded over the years to only his strongest and most prominent (it's hatred towards MX).

And even if Xehanort isn't Terra, the LS still has Terra's memories because they were branded into the armor and Keyblade. It moves on it's own using those memories, almost exactly like a Nobody does. Almost.

Technically when you fight the Lingering Sentiment, Xemnas is still inside Kingdom Hearts at TWTNW. So if Terra=Xehanort and if the Lingering Sentiment=Terra, how could he be waiting at The Gathering Place and be inside Kingdom Hearts as Xemnas at the same time? He can't. Terra's gone, probably dead, and the LS is all that's left of him. And Xemnas/Xehanort is either MX or an entirely different person if I'm correct.

I'm not even sure if this makes sense anymore.

 

You're forgetting the fight with LS isn't exactly canon. So I'm not sure if the two places at once can be a valid argument. Not to mention, LS is probably a part of Terra, like you said, which means Xemnas could be the rest. Roxas is a part of Sora so one could say Sora was at two places at once (wherever Sora was and wherever Roxas was) I think LS is just Terra's Keyblade or a remnant of it while Xemnas is his actual self. MX and Vanitas have their own place in this theory, but I can't say I have enough evidence to support myself.

 

Yea thats pretty much wat i was gonna say. The stuff the LS said is true for the story but the fight isn't canon (not part of story). So that trumps the last part of you theory. IF i was too try to explain the LS... IF it was part of the story (i no it isn't but) I would say that it couldve been part of terra (like u said or his armour or his keyblade) which i am guessing before kingdom hearts was shown because thats wen terras eyes change colour. I no thats not true because the fight wasn't canon.

 

When Terra crashes into you on his hi-speed mode. the thing he's driving is the same type of vehicle that Ven rides in Deep Space in the TGS 09 trailer.

Even though it's the same composer. that doesn't mean much because look at the music fights between Roxas and Xion. If not that then Repliku and Xion. complete difference in music.

As for the attacks they both specialize in beam attacks and like the person above me said. The org. 13 characters have changeable weapons so the beam attacks would change color as well

I'd like to emphasize that the Lingering Sentiment battle is not canon. If you'll recall, KH1:FM had a battle against Xemnas, which had little to do with the storyline of Kingdom Hearts II. I get the feeling that the Lingering Sentiment battle was only added to create anticipation for Birth by Sleep.

 

Right, the fight never happened. But the moves and words that they speak are. Terra's keyblade transformation is just like the LS and the names uttered by the LS (Aqua, Xehanort & Ven) are.

Actually considering it was in a flashback while Sora recovered his memories that fight is canon. This fight is also right before Xemnas and Roxas meet at the dark beach. The timeline is this. Roxas is born and joins the Organization. Xemnas then goes and confronts Sora. He plays with Sora and returns. He then meets Roxas on the beach and utters the words "He looks alot like you". Referring to Sora, not Ven. In fact Xemnas says similar things to Sora when they meet.

and also remember in final mix 2 there is a cutscene of Xemnas going into the room of sleep and calls Aqua's armor "friend" and the Lingering Sentimant easy explanation Terra's hearts is controling the armor that or his keyblade
