Cool PS3 games?

I'm getting a PS3 soon, but before I do, I'm trying to figure out some cool games to get. I'm mostly into Action/Adventure and Racing games. Any good suggestions for a game?

I'm considering the new Need For Speed game.

 

Resistance: Fall of Man is the best FPS on the market for the PS3.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End! (I'm pretty sure that's out on PS3...)

 

Personally, none.

I have a PS3, but I'm still waiting for games I want. Ninja Gaiden Sigma came out, and I'm still thinking about passing on that one. Assassin's Creed (due November) may be the first PS3 game I buy.

I'm just gonna wait until MGS 4 comes out on PS3. I really have no reason to right now. Or maybe I'll wait for the next KH game. But if I wait for KH the PS3 might be cheaper. But right now it looks like I'm waiting for MGS4.

 

Wait for Lair, that game is going to be epic.

 

I think DMC4 is due out later this year. I may be wrong though.

 

NFS:Carbon?
yeah, that's a good one for those who like racing games.

 

NFS Carbon is a pretty awesome game.
If you're looking for some Action/adventure games then you might have to wait a while.
If you're REALLY looking for one right now, then buy Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion.
Now that game is pretty awesome.

 

If you're into racing get Carbon. That is hands down the best racing game I've played.

And get Ratchet: Tools of Distruction, when it comes out of course.
