Digital Art Continue the .PSD

I saw this on another website and I thought it would be a fun idea.
Basically, what happens is let's say you have an unfinished PSD (Photoshop Document). Instead of leaving it on your computer to rot, you post it up here and let someone else finish it off for you. Kind of like a collab, except less organized.

Where should I upload my PSD?
There are a lot of different sites for this. My personal favorite is mediafire, but megaupload is also very popular. Neither require an account for downloading or uploading. Please do not use Rapidshare, it just pisses people off.
I use Gimp! What should I do?
Good news -- Gimp accepts PSDs, so you should have no problems opening the documents other people upload. If you're looking to upload, however, when you would usually save the document as an XCF, save it as a PSD.
How do I post the PSD?

Well part of it is putting the styles of two people together and seeing what comes out. Whatever you do it'll be better than leavig them half-finished (or not even).
You guys can put up your .PSDs too.

 

QUESTION! if i use paint for all of my photos what do i do cuz this sound really fun. i don't have photoshop so i use paint since i've used it for a while without a hitch. here are some of my photos to show you what i can do with it. (except for the one with riku. that one i cheated on with vegas((movie making software)) ) http://www.kh-vids.net/album.php?albumid=2142 anyway this sounds really fun and i'll hold other people's work to the highest standard and i'll make it look good. i promise.

 

.psds aren't compatible with Paint. Hell, not much is.

Anyway, I'll probably be jumping in on this, might take a swing at the Cloud (at least I think that's him) one.

Well you're really good at Paint, but you'll need Photoshop or something to do participate in this really. If you really want to but don't want to pay for Photoshop, you can get Gimp. It's free and very easy to use and install, especially since you have experience in Paint. We have a lot of Gimp users on here, I used to use it too, and we can help you along the way.
With Gimp you'll be able to participate. :]

 

i can still just right click teh pic and do it from there right? it may not be so fun but i'll give it a try.

How do i get gimp? and if needs me to download it then 1. can you please put the link on here and 2. my comp has a block on it so i might not be able to download it anyway but like i said before i'll give it a try. ^_^

I totally suck when it comes to Photoshop, so I'm just gonna see what appears in here. I'm sure they'll all be epic~

There's a download button there. It depends on the blocks on your computer, but like you said, it's worth a try. :]

Edit:I'm done with the cloud one. Its not much. Just some text and blurring. I tried to do the ink splatter too but it was being stupid. So this is all i was able to do. Please tell me if its good. This is my first time using gimp ever and it was very confusing but i managed to at least find out how to do all of this. ^_^ oh and im sorry about you guys having to download the pic but to actually get it on here is a bit complicated for me. http://www.mediafire.com/?tywjrm5nrkd

That's all I can really tell you, since all you did was put text over the image.
Try looking on Google or DeviantArt, or even look at the ones here.

I hardly ever use wireframes; figured I might as well try now. I just kinda grabbed one that went in the general direction out of my folder, didn't really look at it. >>

Tutorials explain things. Like functions, tools, etc.
You can download a free trial of Photoshop I think, but I wouldn't until you learn the basics in Gimp. The full Photoshop can run between $400 and $500, depending on the version.

 

On the contrary, I quite like the wireframes.

So, I was creeping on this thread and it peaked my interest. I will have to browse my files to see if I have any unfinished ones ;D

 

i think its a little random to use wireframes but it still looks cool nonetheless.
