Console Wars Update #4

The Wii continues to gain more sales by a little amount, will the 360 reclaim its title.
Did the PS3 raise any?

Also, the DS is not submitting to the PSP. (no news there....)
(Still, the PSP is doing good for a hand held.)

Why are the results the same as last time? They are all the same.

 

I personally think that the Wii is like a Subway sandwich, it looks good and tastes good the first time you try it but soon the great taste dries off from realizing that its just the same sandwich every single time you have it.

The Wii is fun but many of the games require humans to deny all possible strength. If a hardcore one day gamer tried to play 8 hours of Twilight Princess they will quickly realize that at the most you can last 2 hours before your arm feels like its gonna fall off. Overall its just attractive but not long lasting fun.

The PS3 is my personal vote for success now with great games in the horizon and a much cheaper price the PS3 is gonna sell like hotcakes. Everyone who has it says its awesome (like my cousin) and the games are amazingly beautiful.

 

ps3 may be the best but it doesnt have any good games yet. unless they've been released already.

Sony won E3, you have to admit. Theyre Conference was great. UT3 and Haze exclusive, MGS4 Trailer, and the Halo-Killer, Killzone 2, which looked nearly as good as the 2005 trailer.

The PS3 hasnt been going as well unfortunetly. I have a PS3 and I can tell you it is Great. I dont know why people criticise it. Its not at all defective, and its silent AS, but im not going to rant on about it. But the point is that Sony deserves better.

NINTENDO

Nintendo seems to have lost all interest in Hardcore Gamers. They seem to be aiming
at Fat people and Old people. Wii Fit? That doesnt appeal to gamers. And Super Mario Galaxy? Its a good game but its coming out in 2009! Final Fantasy is also coming out around that time but its PS3 game! Not a 9 Gigabyte Wii Game!
Wii is owning every other console in Sales. But im sorry to say that i think its overrated. Im sorry if ive offended any Wii Fanboys, no seriously.

Bill Gates is evil. Paying Rockstar for dowloadable content through Xbox Live? Thats dirty. Rockstar favour Sony, but Bill Gates had to pay them. Shame on him

Red Rings of Doom(or Death). Its a pain. 33% of 360's are defective, while 1% of Wiis are defective, and 0.3% of PS3s are defectives. As you can see Microsoft cant make Hardware.

Microsoft's Conference at E3 was bad. Halo 3 Xbox? Thats nice but VIVA PINANTA 2! Those monsters

Personally, I think the PS3 is a better game system and games are coming out for it later on that are great. However, I also like the Wii but am just not so into the kiddy games on it. I've just outgrown them. Some things still interest me such as Megaman and Zelda but that's about it. Wii is great for some bash em up games though but really, they need some better titles. Of course, the cost of the Wii made it attractive to me because the games may be cheap but some are entertaining for all of a day or two. Xbox I don't even bother with really. Most of the games I like are on the PS2 and coming out on the PS3 so whether I admire the other two consoles or not, my first choice was the PS3, and secondly the Wii. PS3 also has great capabilities such as being able to use Linux and some other functions most people don't have to worry about, but I do enjoy.

 

I don't really like bumping threads, that can lead to trouble.....

 

So you got a PS3 already or are you going to get one?

 

I've played on it quite a few times and all the consoles some and the hand held ones. I haven't bought one yet because I'm a poor Repliku who needed to eat first and save pennies but plan on it sometime soon when the cooler games come out like DMC4 and FF XIII. I'm still finishing PS2 games. I will say though I love the functionality of the PS3 that I've been shown and the extras on it to me make it the reason it's so expensive. Fortunately, I have friends that have all 3 game consoles and think they are all good. Though I do consider the Xbox is the only one I won't bother with. It's kind of the in between system of the Wii and PS3 and I -always- by consoles for the games, not really worrying about the console wars. I don't give in to fad stuff.
