    Right on, then.

Really? Hm... I guess I can't say I'm surprised. It's kind of archaic. Like I said, the closest contemporary analogue is the concept of a protagonist in fiction. My own shorthand definition is, "If it'd make a good read, it's heroic." Whereas the one I'd present for serious discussion is the one I've taken several pages to properly define.

Any rate, I think that's about all I've got. Unless there's more, thanks for the good conversation, and the post count~

I really like that shorthand definition. It works for me on all accounts.

The same to you. How did you manage to stay ahead of me?

heck yes there's more you gdawgs and pdawgs and dawgs of all the other letters... ALSO.

Listen everybody here's the lowdown? Greek narrative is pretty specific all up in the business. They gotta get their tragic flaw on and then stuff gets uncomfortably real, and they challenge the social order and fail and it's all groady. Like Oedipus I guess and Antigone (my fave, rad chick hero and all that BIZ) but they gotta FAIL is the business.

not a lot like what hero means 'round these days if you know what I'm sayin'.....

    SCREWDRIVER out.
