"That is the prize question, one without an answer" Jonathan said to Drake.

 

"Keep an ear to the ground and wait I guess. With any luck maybe recent events will be enough" Drake said. After a moment of silence Drake asked. "Do you have any idea why I was left behind at the Luna Base? You don't simply forget a squadron leader. I wanted to ask Captain Trios, but suffice it to say the opportunity never presented itself.

 

"Hmm, no. I guess someone could have reported you onboard the Ark. But I wasn't there so I wouldn't know" Jonathan said to Drake.

 

"Fair enough" Drake said "I just wanted to know if I had a target on my back. I'm still not convinced I don't, but at least it appears to be a smaller scale"

 

"Do you know anything that could be a threat to someone?" Jonathan asked Drake.

 

Drake thought for a moment. "The super soldiers at the base communicate through nearby technology. Manipulating fields to carry the message they want. They could then potentially just change the values without trying to send a message. What if the soldier I met didn't want me to leave? What if he made the system say I was there so they would leave me stranded there?"

 

"Its possible, but why would it want you to stay, was it a self aware Super Soldier?" Jonathan asked Drake.

 

Ryo smiled "I guess I can't say I know how a parent feels about their child until I become a father myself" Ryo said crossing arms "but try to think positive. Try and think of a bright future instead of a bad one...something that will motivate you to try harder then you think you can...or something" Ryo said and groaned "sorry, I am not quite good at motivating people" Ryo said

 

"Well after that long I would imagine so. One can only go without orders for so long, and the knowledge was on the system there. It said I knew it's parent. I really have no idea what he was talking about, or why he believed I would know. Perhaps he was just delirious"

 

"Parent, if it was from that base it would have been cloned, maybe its talking about one of the twins" Jonathan said.

 

" Well its a start, at least you are more positive then some of the people here, its a welcomed change."
The woman said as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a magazine clipping as she flipped it over revealing the glossy side and on it was a picture of a young boy with bluish gray hair and light blue eyes.
" This is him, doesn't he look a lot like me? At least he obtained most of my good looks."
She said boasting with a smile.

 

Ryo smiled as he looked over at the picture "what a cute kid" Ryo said and crossed his arms and looked at her with one eyebrow raised "good looks? you sure your kid gets his looks from you? I mean he is too cute compared to you" Ryo said and let out a little chuckle "I'm just kidding he does look a lot like you" Ryo said

 

There was two guards out side the brig as Ryo and Yjuna approached it.

 

Yjuna paid little attention to the guards as she drew closer down the hall.
" Hey !! Was that suppose to be a compliment?"
Yjuna said as she pounded him gently on the chest with her fist playfully.

 

Talia was in her room, changed into her clothes that she wore for sleeping. She was asleep on the top of her bunk bed.

Garrus was in the bunk below Talia, his arms and and the right side of his face were bandaged up. He was wearing a uniform because the clothes he was wearing underneath his pilot suit were torn up and burned pretty badly. Garrus was up working on a Portable Data Terminal that he always has around just in case he had ideas. On the screen that popped up were blueprints for an MHW. The Blueprints were incomplete, parts of the MHW on it were missing and information was not complete. Hmm... This could be used for... Yeah... He was quietly thinking to himself as he added more and more detail to the blueprint.

Talia woke up and looked down to see Garrus working on blueprints. She wanted to tell him to stop working, but she couldn't do it for some reason. She just put her head back on her pillow and went back to sleep.

Garrus looked up briefly, and then went back to work.

 

"Could be. I honestly don't know much about all this super-soldier stuff. Always been a man of the MHWs. Anyway, what's the plan to continue from here? Obviously you would be in command here unless some figure head steps in to mess things up."

 

Ryo laughed as he nudged her arm "maybe it was or maybe it wasn't" Ryo said with a smile and noticed the guards "can we pass" Ryo said

 

"We are heading to the Ptolemaeus Base, there you will be informed of your new orders" Jonathan said to Drake.

The guards looked at Lyo and Yjuna before opening to door.

 

Ryo silently walked past them and nto the brig. Walking past the cells he looked for Amy's

 

" Are we looking for that woman who trashed the medical ward?"
Yjuna said as she followed him.
