" I think it's wrong, I would never let him go through the same I did, but before I could have a say in anything they took him away and then he was adopted by some family, not just any family, but the royal family for that matter, one of the princesses decided to become his adoptive mother. At that same time I am kind of glad they are holding off on the scientific actions till he is older since he is in such a well off family now and that he actually gets some sort of family but I hate how he will be a lamb in the middle of a pride of lions is all. With little he can do to for himself."

 

"so will you try to get him back" Ryo said calmly

 

"Yes I want to, but . . . I don't know if its the right thing to do, what . . what if hates me, what if hes already happy with his current family, would it be right to tear him away. Even though I really want him to be with me again , I just . . ."
Yjuna said continuing to walk.

 

"if you know that he will suffer in the future you can't just leave him, thats wrong. If he will hate you then let him. Leaving him alone definitely won't make him happier or help at all" Ryo said speaking his mind

 

After finding that the captain wasn't at the bridge Drake had gotten a room key and proceeded there. He rested for a while but he couldn't seem to sleep. Deciding he had enough of his room he got back in his chair and began to wonder the halls. He found it to be better than lying there but the chair was starting to annoy him. The wheels were equipped with magnets to make it cling to the floor but any minor faults in the floor or turbulence in the ship made it detach and it was a pain to get it back down again in lunar gravity. On more than one occasion he got one of the wheels stuck to a wall instead of the floor. He wondered how often one of them ended up doing more harm than good.

 

" I just don't want to do anything that will change his view of me forever, if I am to be his parent I don't want to be a bad one is all. But first of all I don't know how I am going to take him back without getting in trouble."
Yjuna said a she closed her eyes.

 

"the defeat of the empire" Ryo said as he walked ahead of her and stopped "at least thats the only way I can think of at the moment" Ryo said

 

" Yeah but you sure harm won't befall the royal family when that happens? I can't wait till the empire does fall, especially knowing what could be the outcome that could possible endanger my son. . ., think about all the empire's enemies with their pent up anger."
Yjuna said looking troubled.

 

"What happened to you?" Jonathan asked Drake as his wheel got stuck again, he came up behind Drake.

 

Ryo closed his eyes "I can't guarantee that he will be 100% safe" Ryo said "but what if we can come to term with the empire . Maybe someone new can lead the empire to a different future. After all there is a member of the royal family that has turned away from the empire" Ryo said

 

"The chair? It has been a bad day to say the least. I got shot in the legs back at the Lunar Base. The Ark left without me and it seems there is at least one super-soldier that survived over there. I talked with him a bit before the alter ego stepped in. I imagine that file should come shortly as the up-link synchs everything." Drake explained in a brief, almost casual manner. "I must say I'm glad you showed up with the Shangri-La when you did. Too much longer out there and these bandages wouldn't be necessary if you catch my drift. What about you? How have you been?"

 

" I can't bet on the empire suddenly becoming everyone's friend without some sort of strings attached, it seems too good to be true."
Yjuna said shaking her head so that her bangs would fall out of her eyes.

 

"sure trust is a hard thing to get but I know people would rather an end to this war. If the empire continues on your son and a lot of other people will suffer because of the empires lust for power. But if we defeat the empire there might be rebels from the empire who would seek revenge. The royal family and your son might be in danger from empire haters" Ryo said closing his eyes "if we are able to bring peace with the empire there will be no need for senseless killing. Sure some may still hate the empire but still...would they risk the peace over a grudge, and even if they would, would anybody let them ruin the peace" Ryo said

 

"Busy, the Federation is in confusion since losing the military HQ, so now the council wants to put civil members into military positions, add the president is nothing but a figure and that makes my life busy. We need a strong leader, not corrupt Coorprate Members, they can rule once we win. What do you think?" Jonathan asked, rambling on.

 

" I don't know I just don't feel all settled with this, especially with my child being involved."
Yjuna said closing her eyes.
" I wonder what they got planned for me, these people, they haven't offered me a permission to leave yet."
She said referring to the people here and Jonathan.

 

Ryo sighed "just try and relax. Worrying at the moment won't solve anything" Ryo said

 

"It sounds like a headache" Drake said as finally got the chair back on the floor. "As much as it would help things are to crazy at the moment to get anyone to agree to arranging a reappointment. At least not until something very obviously idiotic happens"

 

"Idiotic? What ever do you imply?" Jonathan asked.

 

" Well Ryo, you will worry uncontrollably when you too someday become a parent, it's instinctive, even when my child is so faraway its hard to do without."
Yjuna said chuckling.

 

"Honestly I don't know. But a leader that is good in both wartime and peacetime is exceedingly rare. Sooner or later they are bound to make a mistake big enough to make people second guess them. The question is do we risk resources waiting for it to happen naturally, or risk our reputations and help the process along a bit."
