'Told to wait' the computer replied.

 

First he seemed like he wanted to leave but was scared, now he was apparently told to stay behind? Was this the split personality he heard about so many supersoldiers having? 'Told by whom?'

 

'She told me, she said she come if leave' the computer said.

 

'Who is she?'

 

'She is everywhere, she killed the shuttle, she saved our older sibling' the computer said.

 

'And who is this older sibling?'

 

The super soldier fell on the ground, clutching his head, he was in obvious pain but there was the slightest sound from him.

 

Drake put in the message 'Follow when able' before he took off running from the room. Obviously he wasn't going to communicate while in such pain and Drake doubted he would be as peaceful when he got back up. Maybe if they got to the Ark the boy could be detained until he could figure out more. Drake hit his communicator and said. "Link Established. Returning to Ark. Made contact with a super soldier. Hostility was mild but was obviously in extreme stress. Other personality feasible. Subject will likely be in pursuit momentarily.

 

The super soldier came running out of the room, in one hand he had Drake's Gun and in the other a silenced pistol. He aimed at drake and started shooting at his legs.

 

"Second personality definately hostile!" Drake said before a hit landed bringing Drake to the ground. He had hoped the conversion would take a bit longer than that. However it did aim for his legs and not to kill. He might be able to survive this, but now that he was away from the terminal that would be harder.

 

The super soldier came up and fly kicked Drake into the ground, and then stood on his chest and aimed at his face.

With all the crew back on the ship (Exluding Drake) the Ark started taking of for the Federations Ptolemaeus base on the moon's surface. The trip was roughly 560 kilometer to their destination.

 

Drake remained on the ground, readdy to throw his weight if he saw any motion associated with firing a gun. Honestly, the probability of him living even another few seconds was slim. He was just running away, he was unable to help the boy, and odds werethe boy was more hostile now than before, and considering they met by him throwing a flashbang grenade that was saying something.

 

The boy lowered his gaurd, the sound of ship engines distracted him. He looked around but couldn't figure out what direction to go, so he just ran in a random direction hoping to find the ship.

 

Drake had been so focused on his immenant death that he hadn't noticed the engines. Not that he didn't hear them, but they seemed surreal in his state of adrenaline. Drake got to his feet but was barely able to stand with his leg wounds. Bracing himself on the wall, Drake moved down the halway, hoping that the sound he heard was not his ship. How could it be? He hadn't returned yet, the mission wasn't over. They couldn't just leave the Squadron Leader behind.

 

The Ark slowly left the base, the sound of its engines died as it went away. Drake came across a viewing platform that looked ver the plains that surrounded the base, and the Ark as it left.

 

"Damn it" Drake called out under his breath, not wanting to alert his 'friend' or anyone else to his presence. He sat back down to put the weight off his legs as he thought. The Ark was gone and this base was hardly hospitable, so how was he going to leave? On his com he called out to the Ark "Who authorized relaunch? I'm still here" he said, hoping the Ark was still in his frequency range.

 

There was no sign of the Ark stopping, as it left another pillar of light came down from one of the colonies and hit over the horizen. The pillar sent vibrations threw the moon that where like an earthquake.

 

Drake remained seated through the tremors. So he was officially abandoned here. He had to figure someway back to the Ark, if only to figure out why someone thought it was a good idea to leave him behind. And considering his own rank it had to be someone high up. The captain should of denied a request to leave without the Squadron Leader unless she thought it was what was best for the mission or recieved orders from someone outranking her. Once the tremors ended, Drake got back up and started moving, he wasn't sure what he was looking for exactly, but sitting there wasn't going to help him out of this place.

 

Yjuna was distracted as she sat in front of the window watching the ship she was on fly up into the air and watching the ground and base below her shrink smaller and smaller as they went higher.
" And to think I thought I would never get off the moon alive."

 

"So...how are you doing?" Ryo said as he entered the room and walked up to Yjuna with a smile on his face
