Drake quickly regathered his things and went to the computer to see if he could pull up any logs on what was supposed to be responded to.

 

The log indicated that the first Mass Produced series couldn't hear or speak, but instead communicated threw nano machines, and the nano machines could link to the base computers.

 

Drake nodded, that explained the odd behavior. Drake pulled up a new log on the computer and typed in 'What are you searching for?'

 

'Parent' was all that the boy responded on the screen.

 

Garrus put down the parts he was holding and then put on a bandana to keep the hair out of his face. As Alastor told him about the power plant, he looked up at him with a raised brow, "Oh yeah? What kind of power plant is it? Please don't tell me it's a standard Hyper Solar reactor." Garrus continued to remove the twin reactor.

 

Drake was a bit confused. Why follow him if he was looking for a parrent. Was this a case of mistaken identity, or like Alistair did he himself have more to do with this than even he knew. 'Why me?' Drake responded on the computer.

 

'You know of father' the computer responded.

"Nope, not a reactor, but a special Drive, only Seven exist, all of them have been brought on to this ship" Alastor said. "Al, stop, if you give him 'Anada' Alistair won't break away" Mia said. "No, I was thinking of giving him 'Io'" Alastor said.

 

'Would you like to come with me?' Drake asked. Although this was in part to prevent the boy from trying to kill him, he was interested in where this rabbit trail would lead.

 

'I never left home' the computer responded.

 

"Wha- Wait a minute, you're talking about... An NG Drive? Tha- That's impossible! How'd you get your hands on one of those?" Garrus was absolutely astonished. As he tried to get out to see Alastor, he hit his head on one of the panels. "OW! Dammit! Anyways, how do you have an NG Drive?"

 

"All six originals are stored here and the seventh is in Niche, which is ironic because that drive is called Niche' Alastor said. "It was named after it" Mia replied, shaking her head.

 

"WHAT!? Ho- How is that possible, I was never aware that the NG Drives were on here." Garrus didn't even know what to think anymore.

 

"The original seven where made for me and my siblings, and they have a limitless supply of energy" Alastor said "Inlike the Fault Drives used to power Luna Industries HQ."

 

"And you're willing to give me one? What's the catch?" Garrus crossed his arms in suspicion.

 

"Why not?" Alastor asked "This machine, it has so muchmore going for it if it can find the right power source, but without a power source it will not happen, it will vanish" Alastor said.

 

"Well, that's interesting. If you're willing to, I'll take that NG Drive off your hands." Garrus grinned at the thought of having his Type Seven run with a limitless power source.

 

"Unfortunatly we don't have the equipment to equip it here, we would have to head to Luna Industries to do that, the reactor plant of the Type Seven will have to be replaced for a Drive mount" Alastor said.

 

"Hey, I'm willing to wait for an NG Drive." Garrus kept thinking how much greater the Type Seven would be with it. He couldn't contain his excitement.

 

"Ok" Alastor said, turning and leaving. Mia followed right behined him.

 

'I have to leave here. I can only help you find father if you join me' Drake replied. "I hope this doesn't add too much drama with Alastair and the others" he spoke outloud.
