Ryo walked in and looked around at the tanks, all the while still keeping an eye out for danger

 

Alastor entered more codes into a control panel on the balcony. The balcony started lowering it self and a hatch opened below. The balcony went threw the hatch, the group where engulfed in darkness except from Mia's flash light and the control panel. The balcony then came into a room that had an MHW that looked much like the Strikers, though it was covered in dust. Its design was black and it had a strange backpack on itm that had things that looked like missiles attached to it.

 

"so this is what we came here for" Ryo said gazing at the MHW before him

 

"Yeap, the CPHW-02-6 Multi Strike, the desgin of it was taken by the Federation, like all the other Strikes, but it proved to be to expensive for them to mass produce the system" Alastor said going to a cabinat and grabbing a MHW key, blowing the dust off the key.

 

"so what are you planning to do with it" Ryo said

 

"We are taking it, or more you will pilot it up to the Ark, land it and then hope out" Alastor said passing the key to Ryo.

 

Ryo caught the key and looked at it "very well then" Ryo said as he stepped up to the Multi Strike and got in

 

Drake went through corridors looking into dorrways as he passed. '...I'm not sure what happened but something bad happened that day when we found him...' Jonathan's word's echoed in his head as he looked for a computer hub, memory stick clenched in his fist with a gun in his other hand. He knew this was from nine years ago, but in a place like this it was concievable that whatever did this was still here. And the general ley out of the place didn't help. Even if one were to ignore the corpses and the fact that half the machines were broken, the place was still pretty creepy.

 

After a short snooze Yjuna was awake, it had seemed she learned to sleep lightly especially after doing so would ensure survival amongst her kind back during her time living within the life of a super soldier.Like wolves, those who showed a bit of weakness were usually attacked by the rest of the pack. So Yjuna seemed to awake at any suspicious or loud sound. She sat up in bed and looked down at her knees that were bandaged up.
" It seems I fell asleep without realizing, strange I don't recall feeling that tired."

 

Garrus turned over in his bed as he had a nightmare. The nightmare that played through his head every time he slept. It started with him looking out from a balcony on a building 34 stories high. Just beyond the balcony he saw his parents, calling for him to go to them. But he feared falling all the way down to the ground, so he stayed. However, he would feel a sudden pull towards his parents. Try as he might, he couldn't stop himself and he kept going and going until he finally fell off of the balcony. Just as this happened he finally woke up, sitting up suddenly with sweat dripping down his face, breathing heavily. It's that damn nightmare again... Why does it keep happening?

"Oh, you're finally awake." Talia said looking up from the book she was reading. She stood up and set the book down on the chair she was sitting on. "You must've been having some serious things going on in that head of yours from the looks of it."

"Huh? Who are you, and where the hell am I? What happened?" Garrus looked at her as he wiped the sweat from his brow.

"Well... you're still on the Ark, you're just in the Medical Bay. As for who I am, I'm the new nurse and MHW pilot from the Shangri-La, Talia Rasler Nabradia," she said with a smile on her face. "As for what happened, it seems you passed out from the radiation emitted by that huge MHW you were piloting. So tell me, who's the genius that put in a Twin Reactor?"

Garrus turned red in the cheeks. He turned away from her and nervously scratched his cheek, "Uh... I'd be that genius."

An awkward silence came about between the two of them. Then, Talia, angered by his stupidity, shouted at him, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!? YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT YOU PUT IN TWIN REACTORS WITHOUT KNOWING ABOUT THE RADIATION!? HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE!?"

"WELL I HADN'T THOUGHT ABOUT THAT AT ALL!! I ONLY THOUGHT ABOUT OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE!! AND WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO CHASTISE ME!? YOU'RE JUST A NURSE!!"

"YOU MORON!! EVEN THOUGH I'M A NURSE, I LEARNED ALL ABOUT TWIN REACTORS BECAUSE OF THE RADIATION THEY EMIT AND THE POSSIBLE HARM THAT IT CAUSES WHEN YOU'RE EXPOSED TO IT FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME!! IDIOT!"

Garrus just looked at her utterly defeated, "Man... whatever," he looked away from her.

Talia sighed, "If you're gonna pilot that thing again, you should consider changing the power plant," she scratched her head.

 

The platform the Multi Strike was on started to move after Ryo hopped in it. It went to the moon's surface.

The sound of footsteps echoed around Drake, along with the sound of something hitting the floor.

"Shut Up!" Alistair said To Drake and Talia, throwing a pillow at them, "People are trying to sleep, so can you please pass the pillow back" he asked them.

 

OOC: You do realize that it's Garrus and not Drake, right?

BIC: Talia caught the pillow, "Sorry about that." She immediately tossed the pillow back to him.

Garrus grabbed his stuff and was about to leave the Medical Bay.

Talia ran up to him and stopped him, "Hey, what's the big idea?"

"What? You said it yourself, I should change the power plant."

"Yeah, but not right now." She tried to keep her voice down so as not to disturb Alistair.

"Well why not?"

"You need to rest. Besides, I'm not so sure that the radiation is gone yet."

"Don't worry, it should be gone by now." Garrus said quickly trying to head out.

Talia stopped him again, "How can you be so sure?"

"Come on, I'm the guy who put that power plant in there, and I have more knowledge about power plants than you."

"Yeah, then how come you didn't know about the radiation the Twin Reactor would produce?"

"I overlooked something minor. Don't worry about it." Garrus left without any hesitation.

"Crazy S.O.B." Talia went back into the Medical Bay and picked up her book again and continued where she left off.

 

"time to take off" Ryo said as he started the multi strike and launched

 

When Yjuna saw Talia enter the Medical bay where Yjuna had spent the night, to fetch her book. Yjuna sat straight up and jumped out of bed to stretch. Even though she appeared to be majorly wounded she seemed not to feel it or notice it. Yjuna then sat down in a chair next to the window and looked outside.
" Hmm may I ask you a question . . . do you know anything about that Alastor fellow why does he act so strange especially about Jonathan, and his female companion, especially her, something seems off about her?"
She referred to Mia.

 

"Sorry, I'm new here, so I barely know anyone here." Talia said not even looking up from her book.

Garrus entered the Launch Pad and looked around for a bit. Then he grabbed some tools as he went to the Type Seven. "Sorry buddy, looks like I have to take out the power plant. You won't be able to work till I find a new one." Garrus reluctantly started to take off pieces of the Type Seven to gain access to the power plant.

 

Drake slowed a bit to quiet his steps as he went to investigate the noises.

 

"Thats a shame, I have this really awsome powerplant, you want it?" Alastor asked Garrus as he entered the hanger, Mia stood next to him.

As Ryo went out a large beam of light went over the base, towards the moons horizen. The beam was wide enough to engulf eight city blocks. The moon's surface shook violently from the beam as it hit something across the horizen.

The footsteps slowed as well, they almost happened at the same time as Drake's footsteps, as if trying to cover them up with the noise from Drakes footsteps.

 

"what the hell is going on" Ryo said as he gazed at the light, covering his eyes a bit

 

The beam stopped after a few minutes, but there was a bright glow from across the horizen.

 

"maybe the other might know whats going on" Ryo said and headed to the ark
