Conflicting Circles Part 1, Luna Conflict.doc

The screen flickered to a Federation shutlle in a docking bay, then flickered to an error screen, then to a lab with tanks, there where dead Federation peronel in the room. It then flickered to a young woman in a corridor, she wore an Imperial Pilot suit, the door behined her closed as the screen flicked to an error screen and then started the loop again.

 

"an imperial pilot?" Ryo muttered and ran out the room

 

Yjuna began kicking around a old rusted can on the ground as she wandered down the hallway, completely unphased by whatever dangers she could bring upon herself, after all she was unafraid of nearly everything.
" Hopefully I can find a way off here and back to the home planet where I can live normally and let these people play out their little game of war by themselves."

 

Ryo continued to run threw the halls "should be around here" Ryo whispered to himself and immediately went to the wall as he hear the sound of a can being kicked. Pulling out his gun, Ryo crept to the corner of the wall and entered the hallway with his gun pointed. Silently he looked over at the woman he saw on the monitor

 

Yjuna kept walking, "seemingly oblivious" to his presence as she continued on, it seemed to get darker further down in the hallway as she progressed since some of the lighting had failed, it go to a point that the hall had been painted dark with shadow that only the outline of her body could be seen. But suddenly she stopped dead and stood there for a minute, then she spun around to glare at him not a sound escaping from her. As she looked at him from within the shadowy portion of the hall, her eyes seemed to glow with a eerie blue tone in the darkness.
" Why are you following me?"

 

"I wasn't expecting an imperial solider in here. So why are you here?" Ryo asked calmly with the gun pointed at her

 

" I don't know why I am here either, you see I was captured but for some reason, they didn't kill me, they kept me alive. . . even though "he" said I was useless . . ."
The girl said walking slowly out of the shadows, revealing her face and her eyes stopped glowing once they came into the light.
" So what be your business stalking lonesome girls and pointing a gun in their face?"

 

Ryo lowered his gun a bit "you can never be too careful now, especially when the stranger wears the uniform from the opposing side" Ryo said with a small smile "so may I ask what your name is?" Ryo asked

 

" My name is Yjuna. . . I don't consider myself to be part of the imperialists or any side for that matter, I may wear this outfit, but it was because I used to be part of the imperials. . . you see I was a former member of the experimental soldier unit and later I was adopted by the royal guard, but then the Prince grew suspicious of me even after I helped bag a enemy spy for him who tried thieving his office, but instead he thought I was the culprit and he sent me to the front lines either to die or prove myself. . . but instead I was captured by enemy, interrogated and then they were originally going to kill me but now . .. they brought me here for some reason and I escaped. Hopefully these people weren't on your side. . . ."

 

"Yjuna...the first super solider" Ryo muttered as he recalled the story Mia told him. Ryo suddenly gripped his gun tightly "d-damn it. They treat these super soliders like their some kind of tool" Ryo muttered out loud. He was getting annoyed by all the things he saw the super soldiers go through

 

" Oh so knowledge of my existence is more vastly spread on the outside? I thought nobody knew about me except for those who were a part of the super soldier program. I assumed that when I was left on a cold table knowing no company except for white masked faces and deadly syringes full of chemicals. . . with nobody there to give me a voice or rescue me."
Yjuna said smiling a slight smile.

 

"I heard it from somebody important in the empire, unfortunately I can't say who it was as I promised not to say" Ryo said and closed his eyes "tsk how inhuman can those b******s get" Ryo said

 

" Oh so you knew somebody from the empire? Hmm ? not surprising, everyone seems to be splitting up more then ever lately to form their own resistances. But tell me, you aren't in alliance with a strange man I was captured by earlier. . his name is uh . .. I think Joseph . . . John, uh . .. Johna- . . ugh forget it, I have a hell of a time remembering so many names. "

 

"Johnathan?" Ryo said saying the first name that came up in his mind

 

" Yeah, sounds very much like it- . . . ugh, so my suspicions were right. Sorry I must be going, I had a nice talk with you but, I can't afford to be captured again and treated like a pawn or a new weapon, I'm out. So I will just be. . ."
Yjuna said as she tried to walk away from him and escape.

 

"i won't capture you. Your no enemy of me" Ryo said calmly speaking the truth

 

Yjuna stopped and turned around, halfway into the darkness of the hallway, her eyes began to glow again.
" You sure? You aren't luring me into a trap are you? I'm not one easy to trust others, especially what I've been through."

 

"no I swear it. There is no benefit in capturing someone who is unwilling to fight" Ryo said placing his gun away "Johnathan was the one who released me from my cell. Other than that I know nothing about him" Ryo said

 

" Oh I see? So you were in a cell? Why were you thrown in there?"
Yjuna said looking him over suspiciously with her blue glowing eyes almost as if she could see right through him.

 

"err..well a prisoner I shot down was close to dying. She was from the empire and only the empire had the medical technology to save her. Will little time I tried to return her to the empire but the federation convinced me to leave her in their care and i got arrested" Ryo said scratching the back of hsi head "pretty stupid of me" Ryo said
