"Right... Thank you" Talia rushed over to where the hangar was, when she finally got there she was exhausted, Man, this place is huge. She looked over at the Type Seven, Whoa, it's that huge MHW that was on the Shangri-La, so that's what it was called. She took a special device that read radiation levels. The device went ballistic, "Whoa, that is some strong radiation."

 

"tsk tsk temper temper" Ryo said closing his eyes and pretended to look like he was disappointed in her

 

The head engineer came over to Talia "I would stay back, we discovered this things uses a Twin Reactor" he said to her.

"What do you want to hear Ryo?" she asked annoyed.

 

"What? a Twin Reactor, no wonder. Well, can you take me to the medical room where the pilot and engineers are?" Talia put the device away.

 

"nothing really, just not any threats like beating me dead" Ryo said with a grin and then looked forward. "so those two twins were your first friends. I take it you didn't have much friends" Ryo said calmly

 

"In a world where political backstabbing and assinations are the Norm, yes. Even at the age of six I had a very good undertsanding of people, they both had innocent eyes then. But when I met Alastor again they where gone, replacded by a soldier, a good honrable and caring soldier, but none the less a soldier. But sometimes when we talk I see those eyes again" she said sadly.

The engineer gave her directions, he was to busy to lead her there in person.

 

Drake entered Alistair's room. "So what's eating you?" Drake asked. The answer was assuming obvious, but identifying the problem directly should help in solving it.

 

"if the war ends many people will have the same innocent eyes they had" Ryo said

 

"Yeah, but not if my brother, no not if my family and their supporters keep doing what their doing" Mia replied to Ryo.

"Do you really have to ask, I know you where listening in, what Mia and that guy claim is immpossible" Alistair said to Drake.

 

"well thats why we are going to have to find a way to stop them" Ryo said

 

"Yes. Yes I do have to ask." Drake said simply pushing the question. He momentarily ignored the claim of impossability to avoid a distraction of the question

 

"Everything! How I'm a super soldier! How that guy is my twin! All of it is impossible!" Alistair said kicking his bed.

"Yes" Mia said.

 

"Let me ask you this. What is your earliest clear memory? Not stories that you were told about your childhood, close your eyes and picture back as far as you can. What do you see?" Drake asked, hoping that the process that made him forget his past didn't put in false memories.

 

"Being six years old, no five years old and my sister bullying me" Alistair said closing his eyes.

 

"so why are we heading to the Washington base?" Ryo said lazily

 

"Do you remember what it was about?" Drake asked

 

"Thank you" Talia rushed over to the medical facility. When she got there, she saw all of the engineers, "Whoa, they don't look that good." Then she looked over at Garrus, "Man, he looks even worse than the engineers. Probably because of prolonged exposure to the radiation." Talia put on some gloves and took out a blood sample from Garrus.

 

Everything seemed a blur almost when she awoke, the lamps that peered overhead seemed so bright that she thought she had really died and was finally at rest. All she remembered before she had blacked out was being in the heat of battle and a down mhw had bumped into hers and everything after that had went black. Sophie sat up but realized that she had been strapped to a cold metal table, restraints around her wrists and ankles. She felt the need to pull free but for some reason a overwhelming sense of weakness came over her. She realized she wasn't dead when she felt the jerk of the shackles that held her down.
" Where in the world am I?"

 

Talia put the blood sample on a slide and looked at it with a microscope. "Well, at least there isn't any permanent damage, some of the cells look a little worn down, but that will fix itself. I should scan his brain for any irregular brain wave patterns." She took a handheld scanner and waved it over Garrus's head. "Okay, his brain is fine, not too affected by the radiation emitted by the Type Seven, though there was a slight change in his brain activity. If I'm right, he should wake up in about a day or two." Talia went over and scanned the other engineers. "Nothing too severe either. Since they were exposed for a shorter amount of time, they should be up in a couple hours."

 

"Kind of, it was about me acciedently killing her pet fish" Alistair said to Drake.

"How should I know?" Mia ask Ryo.
