Drake eventually stumbled upon a bar. He almost passeed it up out of habit but glancing at his watch he decided that any alcohol he had would be out of his system and one drink wouldn't affect him much anyway. Walking in he sat down at the counter, "Get, me a drink, house's choice"

 

Ryo walked out of the room. As he had no personal belonging since they were destroyed in his old ship, Ryo simply began to walk

 

There was many people leaving the HQ but most of them were non combat personel. Alistair walked past Ryo carrying to bags by hand and anothe rbag on his back.

 

Ryo sighed, with the command to board the ship he had no time to actually get anything so he headed towards the Ark "so my new captain is Jillian Trios? She sounds tough" Ryo muttered quietly with a sigh as he walked to his destination

 

Alistair stopped in front of Ryo "Tough? You have no idea" Alistair said to Ryo before continuing to walk to his qaurters.

 

Ryo could help but sigh "well this is just great" Ryo muttered quietly. He feared that he would get hell for the little stunt he pulled so he decided to live with it and prepare himself

 

When the bartender came back with the drink Drake push forward a bill that could cover the drink. The bartender pushed it back and said "On the house" to which Drake responded by placing the bill in the tip jar.
"What's wrong?" the bartender asked.
"Who says something is wrong?" Drake said after taking his first sip.
"When you you've done this like I do, you learn people."
Drake sighed "I think I'm losing my edge as a pilot. I'm a Squadron Leader, manning a MHW with enough specialties on it to be granted a new name, and was almost killed by a Hound today. Punishment for messing that mission up was then to be on active standby the whole way. It isn't hard, but doing that for a few hours burns your focus out."

 

Garrus was putting the finishing touches on his Custom Striker as he finally completed repairing the entire thing. All the damage it sustained in the previous battle was all gone. Garrus even added in a few little extra things that would help him greatly, such as a new flight pack and a modified Beam rifle that could transform into a beam saber. "Finally done... Man, that felt like it took forever!" Garrus exclaimed as he wiped the sweat from his brow.

 

Jonathan came and sat next to Drake. "Hello Drake, its been awhile" he said to Drake.

The overcome voice on the Ark summoned Garrus to the Federation Council.

 

"Aw Dammit! What is it now?" Garrus sighed as he wearily got up to go to the Federation council.

 

When Garrus arrived a qaurter of the Council weren't there. "Thank you for coming" the Federation President said "Can you tell us about the Machine called Type Seven please"

 

"What? Where did you find out about the Type Seven?" Garrus asked them with a shocked expression on his face. He hadn't told anyone about the Type Seven save for the people that helped him work on it, and he swore them to secrecy.

 

"I believe I asked you a question" The president said "Know answer the Question"

 

"Indeed it has" Drake said not even look up and instaid he looked into his glass as he swirled the contents slightly. "I want to ask you something. What do you do if you start doubting if you're cut out for your job?"

 

Garrus sighed, "The Type Seven is an MHW that I've been developing for about 7 years or so. It's a highly experimental MHW that can Transform into seven different forms, hence the Codename "Type Seven". The Type Seven's different forms each have a trait in which they are specifically designed form. The Humanoid form is meant for Melee Combat, the Tank form is meant for Long-range combat, the Flight form for high speed traveling, the Turret form for Anti-Air combat, the Mobile Fortress for heavy defense, the Laser Drill for the penetration of bases, and the Siege form for an all-out assault in the case of an emergency. But... why are you asking about it?" Garrus looked at the president with a quizzical expression on his face.

 

"I was wondering because the R&D division have aqauried it and have been figuring out how it works. Its here within HQ as we speak" The president said.

"Simple< I don't let myself doubt" he said to drake.

 

"What?! How did you get your hands on it?" Garrus was slightly angered by the bit of information that he had just received.

 

"We have our ways, you are dismissed" the President said to Garrus as two gaurds came up next to Garrus to ecourt him out.

 

Damn, damn! DAMN! How the hell did they find it? I can't believe it, I haven't even finished the testing on it! Garrus angrily tried to keep the guards away from him.

 

"I got so cocky with my skills that the mission ended up as a disaster. I nearly got killed dueling a Hound myself and I'm amazed that both of my subordinates are still alive. Believe it or not, it was a newer recruit that saved the mission from certain failure and actually was the most unscathed. It's kind of hard to just not doubt it after something like that" Drake said and then took another sip.
