"Because I'm an engineer at heart. The empire was content with the hounds so there was no room to do my passion. The federation offered me a position and I took it. When I climbed the ranks to a manager, I resigned as an engineer and became a pilot. No one knows how to fly these things better than the ones that built them. I do what I need to in order to live and persue my passion. Simple as that." Drake explained.

 

"our outlooks are different. I merely fought to end this war, thinking that if the Empire will be defeated there will be peace but that was stupid thinking. If the empire loses what makes the Federation or Coalitions any better than the empire. Its just senseless fighting" Ryo said

 

Man, what the hell is that guy doing? Garrus didn't know what to do and felt somewhat helpless since his MHW was out of commission.

 

"The way to end war is not through it. As long as there is disagreement there will be bloodshed. You must find what you think is worth fighting for and protect it. If that is peace, then you should aim to end this war quickly, if not diplomatically." Drake said.

 

"I know that its something i have been thinking of...what I fight for" Ryo said looking over at the unconscious Amy who was sitting on his lap in the Reaper

 

"This isn't a battle we have to have. We could have the medical staff look at her. Maybe even pull off a diplomatic move with the Empire. I don't know, it isn't my call. But if you run, it is my obligation to hunt you down. And even if you do bring her back? What then? She's going to fight again. Either she'll die or she'll kill. Either way handing her back does no good for your cause right now." Drake said, really hoping he danced passed the comment about attacking him fast enough that he didn't come off as threatening.

 

Ryo closed his eyes as the Reaper lowered its rifle and placed it away "this is the LA Reaper returning back to the ark" Ryo said

 

There was a security team waiting for them in the hanger.

 

Drake switched off his com and made a sigh of relief. He then connected over to the Ark "We need the prisoner infirmary active, subject is in critical condition, cause unknown." Drake then held position until Ryo docked before beginning the duties he had been assigned to before the situation.

 

Ryo docked the Reaper and got off along with Amy in his arms

 

An infermary team came and took amy away from Ryo. He was then slammed into the ground by the security guards.

 

Ryo groaned but in annoyance as if he expected this to actually happen "alright alright you guys don't have to be so ruff. Hurry up with the punishment" Ryo said in a bored tone

 

The security team dragged Ryo to the brig and locked him in on of the cells.

 

Ryo sighed as he sat in the cell the put him in "wonder if she is alright" Ryo muttered quietly

 

Seven walked in and opened Ryo's cell door. He grabbed Ryo by the shirt and punched him "you idiot! I can understand you trying to help someone, but what the hell man?!" Seven asked.

 

Ryo didn't protest as he was raise up and punched in the face "I guess I deserved that" Ryo said

 

"Deserve? Your lucky they didn't let me bring my side arm because I would shoot you in the leg!" Seven said punching Ryo again "What where you thinking?"

 

"its funny, I've killed so much and when there was enemy who was about to die before before me and did anthing I could to save her life" Ryo said

 

"Tell me why" Seven demannded.

 

"she showed me the truth about this war it was the least I could do to owe her for this" Ryo said
