Ryo sighed as he flew over and landed the Reaper in the Ark

 

A cable shot out and pulled the damaged hound onto the Landing deck. Security guards in space suits came out and escourted the Hound pilot into the ship. The pilot was a young female. Another guard showed Ryo in as Seven landed behined them.

"Attention all Federation forces, the Ark will be leaving, the Luna 7 defense forces are to follow, all Ark MHw's are to return immediatly" the ark comm officer said to everyone of the Federation members.

 

Ryo walked in and looked over at the young female being brought away and couldn't help but sigh. Ryo calmly walked with the guard

 

The pilot quickly knocked one of the gaurds down and took his weapon. She fired several shots at Ryo but all missed, the guards quickly slammed her down and dragged her away. Seven hopped out of his MHW and stood next to Ryo. "That was close" Seven said.

 

Ryo sighed once again letting go of the gun he almost drew out "yeah your right" Ryo said looking over at Seven

 

"You alright? Oh no, don't tell me. Love at first sight? Are you going to free her and send her back to the Empire?" Seven asked, though he was joking as he walked into the Ark.

 

"pfft as if. I'm not that generous...although releasing her doesn't sound that bad" Ryo said with a grin joking as he walked with Seven

 

"Yeah wel-" Seven stopped speaking after they entered the Ark, he suddenly punched the wall with anger. "We couldn't protect them, we failed!" he shouted in anguish.

 

Ryo was a bit surprised at Seven's out burst and simply looked down at the ground and clenched his fist "d-damn it all" Ryo said

 

Drake pulled the energy saber out of the quad cannon and moved over to Garrus to provide him cover as the two of them returned to the Ark.

 

Alistair landed on the Ark's landing deck as the Ark started to leave Luna 7, completly leaving the remaing Federation defendors to fight the Imperial fleet. As Alistair went in the ship he saw two pilots he didn't know, but noticed they wore Coalition pilot suits. "Who are you two?" he asked calmy.

 

Ryo shoved his hands in his pockets and turned to look over at the one who was addressing the two of them "I am Flying Officer Ryo Walker of the Coalitions" Ryo said calmly

 

"I remember you, I'm Alistair Trios" he said, then looking at the other pilot. Seven quickly took his anger under control "I'm Flying Officer Seven Mao, also of the Coalition" he said. Alistair looked at them for a moment and then turned to head to the change room, just before he left he turned back "I'm sorry for your ship" he said before leaving.

 

"thank you for you concern" Ryo said closing his eyes "we won't let something like that ever happen again" Ryo said to Seven

 

Drake landed and exited his MHW "They might not have the best machines but those pilots were not half bad. I would kill to have a squad as skilled as what I just had to fight. On second thought my squad was only the three of us and we all made it back alive, I just need higher numbers in that skill set." Drake said as surveyed the damage to his MHW. "Severe damage to the cock pit, but the rest of it looks like it only took minor damage. Gradius, run Ia diagnostics scan while I go get some replacement armor." He instructed the onboard computer.

 

Getting out of his MHW, Garrus was clearly angry at what happened. "Damn it all to hell!" His custom Striker was in shambles, his arm was nearly completely stripped of armor and the leg was severely damaged. The shouolder armor was broken and was fixed in one position. There were cuts and holes all over the Striker.

 

The Ark left Luna 7, it now headed for Federation Military HQ. The HQ was a massive base in orbit around the moon. It had the largest detachment of Federation forces and held their war council. Alistair was in the change room, he had just finished putting his uniform on.

 

"Don't sweat it too much Garrus. The fact that you are still alive is impressive. And at least you were able to spread damage out. One more properly placed attack and I'd be a dead man. That 'll teach me to rush things." Drake said, half laughing to hide how embarrassed and frustrated he was with that.

 

"Hah, well, thanks for the attempt, but still, doesn't change that fact that we took some major damage and we nearly lost our lives. Damn... the only thing I can do now is wait until we're at Federation HQ. I have some unfinished work there." Garrus said as he drifted off into deep thought.

 

The landing deck was lowered down into the Hanger. Th engineer crew for Garrus's Striker all looked unhappy at the work they had to do. They quickly got to work fixing Drake's Striker by Replacing the cockpit hatch with another Striker's hatch. The head Engineer came up to Garrus. "This may be a total write off already" the engineer said to Garrus.
