"Agile little sucker aren't ya" Drake said as he put away the rail gun and pulled out his sword. "Let's dance" Drake charged at the hound head on, trying to throw the pilot off guard.

 

The enemy Hound dodged to the left at the last second and aimed a strike on Drake's cockpit, hitting the main hatch but bouncing of due to the armour of the Striker but leaving a dent on the hatch. The Hound flew back out of sword reach before Drake could counter.

 

Ryo had his reaper block the blow with one of his beam swords and smirked. As the two blades clashed Ryo had the Reaper pull out its second sword and sent a slash towards its arm

 

The hound was fast on its feet to be sure but it really wasn't anything to worry much about. Not only because the Striker Kai was easily stronger, but also because of the reason Drake had it. You don't become Squadron Leader for nothing afterall. Drake waited for the Hound to move. Since it is hard to change motion than to start it Drake would have a higher sucess rate of attacks in a defensive stance than an offensive one. And with this pilot the higher attack rate from going offensive won't help anyway. "Gradius, look for design inconsistencies. Something to indicate if this MHW has been modified"

 

The hound started moving in a circle around the Striker Kai, the only thing that set the Hound apart from others was an emblem on its right shoulder. The Hound seemed to be waiting for a chance to strike at Drake and was waiting for him to make the first move.

The enemy Hound used a quick boost to jump back away from the reapers attack. The Hound shooting at Seven was also firing shots at Ryo from behined but disgising them as shots meant for Seven, several shots were on course to hit the Reaper in the back. The Hound dueling Ryo went to knee the Reaper in the head.

 

Stall tactic? Hard to tell, he could blame anyone on simply insisting on a defensive match anyway. Drake feigned a charge at the Hound. closing in on his target only to back away from te anticipated counter and attack at that opening.

 

During Drake fient the Hound pulled out its rifle as he did and aimed shots at the cockpit hatch but when he pulled back the shots missed, the hound didn't move and waited for drakes next move.

 

Drake returned to a defensive stance but purposefully left his right flank open slightly. Doubtless this class of pilot would notice the opening, but would he realize it was on purpose, and either way would he take the bait.

 

The enemy Hound went for the opening, in it right hand the sword and the left hand the rifle. It went to stab straight threw the cockpit.

 

Drake quickly pulled out the rail gun and fired blindly at where he had left the opening and trusted the Hound to be, while simultaniously moving to the left to try and evade the attack. The manouver was a far cry from being fool proof but with a bit of luck he should have at least damaged the hound and then it would be easier to take down. At least in theory.

 

The Hound was almost ripped apart by the railgun but it managed to get on shot of with the rifle that hit right where the dent was on the hatch, ripping a hole in the cockpit. If it wasn't for drake's pilot suit he would have been vented into space. The most attached piece of the hound was the torso.

 

Drake pulled back and adjusted his stance to focus on blocking the hole in the cockpit. If he let an attack damage the suit he was done for. Being this close to the colony and the ark he would optimistically have about a five percent chance of making it somewhere before explosive decompression got to him. On a brighter note though Drake did have an advantage, The Hound didn't look like it could support much more damage anywhere, The striker on the other hand was in decent shape outside of the hole in the cockpit.

 

The Reaper too its blow sustaining a some damage "tsk Seven get out of the way" Ryo contacted Seven as the Reaper suddenly let go of the dual blades and caught the incomming knee to the face. Grabbing the leg, the Reaper swung the Hound around and let go of it sending it towards the other Hound while pulling out his sniper beam rifle immediately after it let go. Taking his chance he fired the rifle

 

The beam hit the first Hound and it exploded. The brief cloud of smoke gave the other Hound Cover as hit fired a few shots at the Reaper.

 

The Reaper used it armor to block the incoming attack and descended downwards and grabbed the swords he discarded earlier and placed them away. Still keeping a grip on his rifle

 

The Hound flew away from Ryo after he grabbed his rifle. It was trying to escape.

The damaged Hound went to ram Drake but the blue one that had been dueling landed next to it and put its hand on the Hounds shoulder. After a few moments the damaged Hound flew away, dodging incoming fire. The blue Hound Faced Drake's Striker Kai and prepared to fight.

 

Drake fired a shot at the damaged hound, hoping to take it out before it got away, but he couldn't afford to focus too much on the shot with the blue hound in front of him. Drake then envoked a double bluff. Rushing-in, pulling out of the rush too early, and then performing a complete rush. All the while keeping a close eye on the weakpoint the previous hound had made.

 

The Hound dodged around the Striker Kai until it was standing behined it during its charge and pulled out an energy sword like the Strikers used. It went to stab Drake's Striker in the back.

 

Drake shot himself upwards at the first sign that the Hound was dodging instead of countering. He was heading straight up into range of the Ark's guns. As the duel stood he was at a disadvantage, there was little he could do currently to switch that but the fire from the Ark would be the equalizer. If either one focused to much on thier opponent or the fire then they would likely be hit by the other.

 

The Hound was about to give chase but it got distracted by the Imperial Battlecrusier going past the Ark. The Ark and the Battlecrusier started firing at each other as the Crusier headed for the Coalition Transport. The blue Hound flew towards the Ark's front quad Cannon with its sword.
