"What is it?" Josh said turning towards the soldier. As he did there was a gunshot as Josh fell to the ground clutching his shoulder.

"Captain's orders" Alistair said heading to the bridge.

 

Yjuna broke out of her cuffs without much effort and rushed to Josh's aid
" Are you alright, see what did I tell you !!"
She said as she reached into her coat and pulled out her dagger.

 

More federation soldiers came into the area. Some of them had a strange bandanna wrapped around their arms. They all aimed at the Yjuna. "Don't move" they shouted at Yjuna.

 

" That is fine with me but if you try to fire at my friend again, I will have to use brutal force."
Yjuna said with a smile, standing in front of Josh, completely blocking him from their view.

 

"Get down" They yelled, but when they where about to shoot the soldiers with the bandanna's turned on the other soldiers and gunned them down.

 

" My, my? So we aren't the only impostors here?"
Yjuna said as she knelt down and felt the wound in Josh's shoulder.
" The bullet stopped a inch in, you will be fine. Nothing major."

 

"Thanks" Josh said. The soldiers simply left Yjuna and Josh.

 

" What was going on just now? Are they with you?"
Yjuna said as she ripped off her coat sleeve and wrapped it around Josh's shoulder and bicep.

 

"Oh, very well then." Garrus went over to the bridge as quick as possible.

 

Ryo opened his eyes and nodded and followed with his hands in his pocket

 

"Not that I know, only two people where undercover here. But since we failed to capture the Shrikers the main fleet would be surrounding us. Maybe they are trying to pull a coup'deta here" Josh said to Yjuna as he stood up, wobling as he stood.

All three of the Ark's pilots where on the bridge, the Captain was briefing the pilots on the situation. "Ok, the situation is that the Empires main luna fleet is surrounding the colony. But that isn't the problem, the problem is that parts of the defence force is launching a coup'deta in the colony. The colony commander sealed of most port entrances to protect the defence fleet, but the fleet ships may also be under internal attack. So you three will launch your strikers as we try to leave and shoot any MHW's that approach the Ark and Coalition transport. Any questions?" the Captain asked.

Seven lead the way to the transports bridge.

 

Ryo followed Seven towards the bridge curious as to what was next

 

Yjuna watched him closely making sure that he wouldn't fall over.
" Oh I see, that is kind of strange . . . do you know of any other groups who might also wish to see harm to the enemy?"
She said as she paced slowly by him.

 

"Heh, kinda funny. This is probably how the empire feels, they simply get it on a larger but less direct scale." Drake commented "I'm clear but I feel sorry for the guys who are going to be left figuring out if the deaths are conspiritors or just friendly fire."

 

"Well regardless, I think this is going to be fun. I get to test out some of the mods I did a couple days ago." Garrus cracked his knuckles with a smirk on his face.

 

"If I must, from what I hear Squad Leader Dwyer here is our highest ranking pilot, so we should leave our combat formation to him" Alistair said turning and leaving the bridge.

"Do you even know what a coup 'deta is? Its when the military attempts takes over a goverment, or in the case they are regular forces attempting to take over the chain of command" Josh said walking towards the shuttle.

When Seven and Ryo reached the bridge the captain told the ship to realease from the dock. "This is why I never joined the federation" the captain said as they floated away.

 

Ryo looked up at his captain and sighed. He was ok with either the coalitions or the federation

 

"Well considering the circumstances most of this is going to be left to improvision. You take starboard. Anastasis takes port. And I'll cover center. As always, be ready for on the spot instructions over your coms."

 

"Understood sir" Alistair said as he left to put his pilot suit back again, for the third time now.

"You two don't get comfy, get ready to launch your MHW's" the captain said to Ryo and Seven.

 

Drake made a nod to the captain and walked out. Something told him this wasn't going to be as easy as it sounded but none of the worry reached his face as he made his way to the hangar. It was days like this that he was happy to be a pilot himself and not have to worry about somebody else doing this job.
