"About 5:12 P.M, why? We launch in one hour if they let us leave" Alistair said to to lazy pilot.

 

"Great, now there's no time to get parts... Dammit." Garrus got out of the cockpit and floated towards the bottom and gathered up his supplies.

 

"But our departure may be deylayed. You see two things have happened. Three Shrikers where stolen and damaged the Luna 7 base, but something else has happened" Alistair said floating down to the same level as the pilot.

 

Drake walked through the engine room of the Ark, he knew by now that everything had been checked out several times over and people were starting to get into positions but that didn't stop him from double checking the more advanced systems. Maintenace might be easy but if you don't undertand the system there are things to be overlooked.

 

Alistair left the pilot in the hanger and floated threw the Ark trying to find any more pilots.

 

Deciding he was satisfied with the state of things and that he would only get in the way of the actual mechanics if he stayed much longer Drake walked out into the main halls of the Ark and almost immediately saw Alistair. "Hey there squirt. What have you been up to?"

 

"Don't call me squirt, Captain says we may be deylayed from launching, I have orders to show you something" Alistair said passing Drake a datapad.

 

" May I ask what are the handcuffs for? I'm sure we don't plan on capturing anyone do we?"
Yjuna said following behind him.

 

"They are for you" he said hopping in the car.

 

Drake took the data pad to look over. "Yeah, yeah, I got it kid"

 

The datapad showed visuals from another colony, the video showed one of the Luna colonies seemed to be in a battle before a massive flash and the video went dead.

 

" Why is that? You know I can simply break out of those right? Or do you plan on something else?"
Yjuna said sitting down inside.

 

"Think, if I was to say take you to identify the ship we used to get here then we could get closer to the port" Josh said.

 

"Looks like a blast took out the camera. Assuming this is ongoing I see how it's a problem but how is this causing delays exactly? If anything I feel like we should be departing early."

 

"I'm just going off from what I heard, but that was a nuke" Alistair said.

 

"Well that would be a problem, wouldn't it? Also expains why we don't have a decent secondary feed to look at. Alright, I'll be ready and waiting as always. I supose you've got more to do than talk to me, kid" Drake said as he turned away to head over to the bridge.

 

Alistair went the opposite direction looking for more pilots. On the Arks bridge the captain sat in her chair while the rest of the bridge was filled with talk.

 

" So you are going to pretend to have me in captivity since obviously I'm suppose to be in prison anyways. Hmm it could work . . . But we got to make sure we only run into the less experience people, because if we run into one of the big dogs around here. . ."

 

"Just be quite you talk to much" Josh said as they drove towards the port entrance.

 

"So is there a plan regarding the battle at the Lunar Colony? Or is the delay because we don't have one yet?" Drake asked the captain calmly.
