My friend got sick on the last con day, which was the day with the panel she REALLY wanted to go to. It was ok though. I took detailed notes. Detailed. Notes.
// Vomits all over thread Augh. So far, this weekend is kind of disappoint, not gonna lie. My cousin and I left to go to the cities after all her friends because she had class and I had work. We met up with everyone at the hotel -- a different one than the one the con is at because I work for Marriott and get discounts. The others had been able to enjoy the con for a few hours by the time we arrived and nobody was in any hurry to get back tonight, so they sat around chatting in the hotel rooms until we finally motivated to go to dinner. By the time we got back, it was too late at night to go and pick up badges [ my cousin and I don't have ours yet ], so I can't get in until tomorrow. I wouldn't be that disappointed about it if it wasn't for the fact that they are playing some werewolf mafia game at midnight -- oh look it started 15 minutes ago -- and because of how sick I am, I couldn't even eat my food at dinner. My throat has hurt so badly this week that I haven't eaten anything because swallowing was literally torture. Today, my throat stopped hurting temporarily -- my lymph nodes are swollen -- so I can finally eat, but my stomach is so upset that just looking at food made me want to throw up. While everyone else had these fancy fish dinners which normally wouldn't bother me, the smell made my stomach sick. Just ate a few fries, drank some raspberry sweet tea, and boxed up the entirety of my reuben. Not to mention love life issues and being utterly exhausted from working overtime this last week. My body hurts in more places than I can count. Sorry this turned into a rant post. TL;DR. Summary, hyuge is not a happy camper and isn't enjoying her con experience so far [ lol what con experience? ].
It's not like a scratch or tickle in my throat. It doesn't really need coating. It's because of the swollen lymph nodes in combination with the ear infection that my throat hurts when I swallow. It isn't even every day which is the weird part. The swelling doesn't go down, but one day it doesn't hurt and the next it is off the charts with the pain levels.
