358/2 Days Communication with "Lesser Nobodies".

Vexen is one of, if not, the smartest Organization member. That is the only reason it was possible for him to create replicas so easily. Zexion could not create a "true" replica, so he is overruled.

She isn't in KH2. It depends on what happens to her in the 358/2 Days story to see if coming back in KH3 makes sense or not.

It's possible for some oral communication, but this is extremely unlikely, as most nobodies do not have "true" mouths.

 

What I mean is what if she still had control over them, but she just didn't appear in the cutscenes(battles etc.). That is a speculative point I am making.

 

That's it, a speculative point. It doesn't have much proof to back it. Once again, it depends on what happens to her in 358/2 Days to see if that would make sense or not. And even if she was alive, what Nobodies would she still have power over? She can't have power over lesser nobodies without being in the Organization.

Roxas left the organization and before fighting Sora he could summon two Samurai nobodies,and maybe more according to Donald and Goofy.

 

Proof is, is when did you ever see Xemnas or anybody giving orders to nobodies? How would they know where Sora is unless he is in TWTNW. There are only a few people in mind. But, I am trying to say that if you haven't seen Xemnas giving orders to any nobodies in cutscenes, how can you prove that he does it? It, yet again is a speculative point.

 

Other members give orders to the nobodies,Xemnas give orders to other members.

And if you asked how they find Sora everywere,is because they have the ability to find the person by their "scent" like Riku did with Zexion.

 

The story follows Sora, and we know he isn't a Nobody. Xemnas may be communicating to the Nobodies telepathically, as in, Sora can't see any proof that they are talking to each other. Yet, we know that Nobodies can communicate thanks to that special cutscene. Also notice how the Dusks call Roxas "My liege". "My liege" is a term used for nobles, usually monarchs. It could mean that the Dusks do follow the Organization, which means that they are given orders by the Organization. Since Roxas controls the Samurai Nobodies, it could also mean that the Dusks are controlled by any and every member. Sora can't break through this telepathic link to hear what the Nobodies are saying. They could have ways of tracking Sora. Notice how they are always able to show up near Sora via the Corridors of Darkness.

 

Then, howcome you don't see other Members controlling the nobodies? That's the question. I understand the "scent", part though.

Plus, if you look at the pages for each Nobody in KHII, you will see something along the lines of:
"This nobody is controlled by _____________(Organization Member)".

I believe that the higher nobodies (lower than the organization) are controled and commmunicate physically verbally and telepathically with the remaining survivors in Kingdom Hearts II which are Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin, Saix, Axel, Demyx, Luxord and Roxas; however in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days these lesser nobodies could of once been controled by all the other members.This of course is speculation. Most likely no matter which memnber of the organization was present, it's most likely that any lesser nobody not being an organization member would give respect to and communicate with that member.

 

Well, the first time we saw a Dusk imitating Vivi (At the Struggle tournament), it just giggled and said Roxas' name (Albeit with odd pauses).
However, laterl, another Dusk imitated Vivi flawlessly (In the tunnel).

That could suggest that there are different levels of intelligence even among the Dusk. Maybe some are capable of more advanced thinking? It could be that some people's hearts weren't quite strong enough to produce a Nobody of a higher rank than a Dusk, but were still greater than the majority of the "Lesser Nobodies".

 

The Nobodies are intelligent on their own. This is what Saix makes clear. They are not the same as Heartless as in being mindless minions. All Nobodies, even Creepers and Dusks that are the lowest, can think and also speak more than likely through telepathy or altering their forms to possess mouths to do so.

As for the hierarchy, the lesser Nobodies do seem to acknowledge the higher Nobodies as superiors. However, the absolute superior would be Xemnas. Axel is an example here that he was linked to Assassin Nobodies but when he betrays the Organization, he is forced to also fight them because he cannot control them or convince them to stop, and there are a fair share of Dusks there as well he cannot exert control over. My guess would be that any Higher Nobody could have commanded Dusks or Creepers as Axel does control the Dusks at the beginning of the game to steal the photos etc. However, at any time Xemnas, being #1 could command the lesser Nobodies to not acknowledge that higher Nobody they were linked to, as was the case with Axel.

I am guessing for communication it is highly likely that the Nobodies have a form of telepathy they can speak to one another since some Nobodies clearly do not have mouths unless their shapes are altered to do so such as was the case with Vivi. Also, the one Nobody that speaks to Roxas seemed more telepathic as well. I'm sure the Higher Nobodies can talk to them and be understood just fine but the lesser Nobodies do have a disability when it comes to speaking to others outside of their own kind, which is why Sora and others would never really understand them as they would not be receptive.

 

Don't you think that the nobodies are still somewhat controlled by the Organization though?

 

Wow! This is a pretty interesting topic. I too believe that the "lesser Nobodies" or "Dusks" can communicate in ways that somebodies can never understand.

I believe they have their own souls and therefore wills, but yes, I'm sure that Xemnas to keep power over them does exert some form of control. I just believe that Saix stated it pretty clearly that they could think and were not mindless drones like the Heartless were. As the lesser Nobodies in life before they became so had weaker Hearts and probably weaker souls, they probably are more malleable to needing guidance of some sort and I do think Xemnas and others of the higher Nobodies had 'control' over them but I believe Xemnas could also sever ties if he chose to. Being pretty weak of will, the lesser Nobodies without the 'orders' of the Nobodies, probably would loiter around not doing very much. However, there's a difference to me of someone giving an order to be followed versus having a mental domination over them. I believe sometimes all the Org needed to do was give them orders. With the Heartless, you would always have to exert mental domination over them because they have no minds to communicate with. They are base creatures only looking for Hearts. Nobodies are more complex than that and could probably be told to do something and told how to it if necessary and they could do complex things without absolute control needed. I'm also sure at times mental domination was or could be employed, but I'm saying with Nobodies it didn't have to always be that way.

Its pretty straight forward. You are correct. Nobodies can talk to nobodies who have brains, unlike heartless, and somebodies cant talk to nobodies because they dont have a power over them.
