New Stats:
Stuck on 4th Riku battle.

This is a easy battle, just ask everyone who watched me beat him yesterday in less then a min.

first get all your 2's and 1s into a deck. Then add jafar.

now use jafar right off at the begining, put together the sleigh, now when you get the tiem to attack, let loose with the sleigh, and make another and spam it. you should have about 7-8 sleights available right now, after that he is dead.

but it uncovered a new strategy: jafar with 0 cards.

 

Note that Jafar, Air Pirate, and Creeper Plant only Brace Stocks of their respective card type in generic Heartless battles. Bosses can still break stocks with those kinds of cards.

To be honest, Riku doesn't need much to be taken down. Judgment based decks, Sonic Blade decks, Summon Boosted Omnislash decks, even Blitz decks work. Just make sure to keep Kingdom Key 0s at the end of your deck so that you can just scroll two cards to the left to Break Dark Aura whenever you need to. Barrel Spider or Items can work well to ignore the shuffling when you reload normally.

In my opinion, any boss is easy as long as you have high enough values, so make sure to take out anything that has a low value (I like to set the bar at 7 or higher). Or just use the sleights that I mentioned earlier.

i had riku down to one last speck with my 0 deck.
i need more HP.
also i have that kind of deck.
KHV uses the same one
High Lv attack cards
3,4 or 5 potions/hi-potions/mega potions
5 cures
5,6,7 or 8, 0 cards at the end

 

You shouldn't really need HP for Sora's story... Especially since you're using a deck made of 0s, as you should be Breaking a lot of Riku's attacks. If you're still having trouble, get a Large Body card or two in my opinion. With a deck of 0s, Dark Aura should be broken all the time, Dark Firaga is easily Dodge Rolled, and a Large Body prevents all his regular attacks from working.

 

yeah... but I'm pretty much a n00b with COM. where is the best place to Lv up?
i'm level 61.
I have a whole ton of map cards so i can get back easily.
Wait... not in sora's story? does that mean you'll need all the help you can get for Reverse Rebirth? (if so I'm dead)

 

Uh, what I meant was that Sora usually benefits better if he had more CP gains rather than HP boosts because with more CP you can put in more Cures and such along with more powerful attacks. And anyways, the best place to level up is the highest floor you can get to, so just keep making rooms in the Destiny Islands if you have to.

also the jafar card only works for a limited # of attacks...
so therefore it kinda sucks...
once i learn the rest of Sora's story I'll be happy

You can use Enemy cards like Oogie Boogie card to recover hp. I played the game twice but I lose several times too. :p I used sleight like, what is it called again, the sleight when Sora throw the keyblade and it came back, it has many type, like a thunder, ice, fire type. I forgot the name of this sleights :P

 

I've been using Oogie and Search Ghost.

Well, it would be better to use Sleights yourself if you have trouble with his Sleights. Higher valued Sleights prevent him from getting attacks through. The ones that I would recommend are Judgment, OmniSlash, Holy, and Sonic Blade. Also, be sure to have just 0s at the end. You can break anything you need to by just scrolling to the left a couple cards and then pressing A.
