Chain of Memories CoM cutscenes

(Not quite sure where this goes)

I have played KH and KH II, but not CoM. I think I understand the basic story of what happens (Sora goes to the castle, fights bad guys, forgets everything, gets put to sleep in a pod to have his memories restored by Namine... right?) but I can't get the came because I don't have a game boy advance. Is there any site where I can watch the english versions (or at least subbed Japanese versions) of CoM cutscenes?

 

This site has the Re:CoM cutscenes.

 

But not CoM cutscenes... is there a difference?

 

Well, RE:CoM is in 3D and CoM is in 2D. There's a slight difference between dialogue, and maybe details on how evens occur, in RE:CoM than in the original because of the capabilities of the PS2 (take note, though, that Square managed to put some very short 3D cutscenes in the GBA version as well), but it shouldn't matter too much in that way. Most of the CoM cutscenes in Castle Oblivion can be found on YouTube or Google Video, but I don't know about inside the worlds.

Also, I believe YouTube is either about to go under or is under maintenance at the moment, so it may not be working properly/at all for a while.

There's no real difference exctpt that one is in 2-d and the other in 3-d. They still have the same storyline, only for different consoles.

 

There's a slight change in scripting and scenarios though. One scene in particular is quite different because after KH2 there was a revamp in terms of the Nobodies and the darkness.

 

Where can we get that Re:Com game? I never heard of it.

 

Re:CoM comes with KH2FM when you buy KH2FM+(that's the reason of the +).It's a remake of the GBA version in 3D and some changes with the gameplay.

KH2FM+ can only be imported from Japan

Ditto, they should bring it, but we American gamers have been jipped off by Japan more than once before.

 

But just like the others said, it's alright to watch Re: CoM and not have played original.
