Colour Blind

So I wanted to know if anyone else on here is colour blind or not. I am mostly to Red/Green and Blue/Purple. What about anyone else. And is it serious.

 

No i'm not colour blind, but i had a friend that was, it was pretty bad for him. I don't know too much about it but in primary school he use to colour the grass in pink & the sky in a weird colour.

 

My friend Natasha is fully blind...but it don't bother me...

 

Yea it does pretty much suck at times, like when I am driving and I can't tell the light is red cause it is so light. But grass looks orange to me and I love the colour orange so something good came from it.

 

I have problems telling the difference between blue and green sometimes, but that's as bad as it gets for me.

I'm not...but my dad is...he told me that the sky looks orange and the grass looks red....he gets all of his colors mixed up...I had to help him one time with arts and crafts because he didn't know which color was which...

 

Cause I can and if it is too much trouble for you to look at oh well. Plus I have a project for statistic that I am see how many out of a certain number of people are.

 

I'm not but that doesn't mean I think you're weird! lol one of my best friends is colourblind and I laways remember one day we were sat in geog colouring in maps and my teacher goes to him "You stupid boy are you colour blind or something? Are you too stupid to know the sea is blue?" lol then when my friend told him that yes he is actually colourblind my teacher had to appologises like crazy! lmao it was so funny

No, I am not. I am pretty happy that I ain't. It must be pretty bad for the people that are colour blind.

hey, dont' put urself down. u shouldn't think ur weird just becuz ur different. if ur color blind, it's NO BIG DEAL. it becomes normal for u, doesn't it? especially if ur born that way (not sure if there's any other way of having it), it's what's normal to u

being colour blind doesn't always mean not seeing colours, it can aslo be that you see the colours but the aren't the right colour...err example: red looks like pink, green looks like blue

if that was the case you would never know, and aslo if you are colour blind, how would you tell?i mean the grass would be green, like it always is but the way you see it is orange...well if you grew up that way then the grass would still be green same with the trees...but you would think orange was green

ok thats a little confusing but, if you are born colour blind then really there is no difference because you would be told the grass if green and you would get to know orange as the colour green

According to my dad who is a scientist , color blindness is a genetic disorder.

 

Color blindness was just used as an example in my biology class. it's an X-linked recessive gene. My dad's got it. he still manages to be a very good rummy-cue player. i manage to get red black and blue mixed up on those tiles! how he gets them right i don't know.

and kikame, i think i know what your saying. in school you learn "this is blue" or whatever. but if your blue is actually red then the actual red becomes your blue. i think there are color blindness tests, but they don't really use them unless you are suspected of being so. so it is very possable that a lot of us are color blind but don't realize it.
