Since we'll be having some free time soon (what with summer vacation descending upon us soon), I'm going to try and do some comics over some of my stories for you guys. So my question is this: Do you think I should go with colored manga or black and white?

Sorry if this in the wrong place. Please move if not, thnks.

Can you give me a few examples? If I do choose color, I'd like to know what to do and what not to do.

Your coloring skills are good. But with a manga I recommend going black and white. Coloring takes to long for me, but if you think you're up to it then by all means, go ahead. :D

That's actually a fanart/fic character, of Kairi's sister, Hiashi. I wanted her to have some resemblance to Kairi, though. Glad it worked.

Since this is a traditional media project I'll just move it to traditional section, darkcloud. :3

About the manga, I highly recommend that you avoid getting too detailed. It is insanely time consuming, and if you plan to make a manga that isn't just four panels I'd stick to greyscale. Notice that some mangas only have a couple of pages coloured at the start of a chapter? If you want to do something like that to give the reader an idea of the colours of the surroundings/characters etc then that could be an idea.

    Good luck man. :3

Last time I checked that's not a manga. The manga is pretty much the Japanese style to draw comics, even if some styles are more realistic than others.
