Coed PE

You are like half the girls in Coed PE that I used to have fun with. It was great to see the girls hop in and do things. Then there was the other half that would lean against the wall and look at their nails which was kind of annoying. I think those girls actually discourage more athletic girls to do things because they are also the 'popular' girls or as we used to call them "Jennies". Some of the guys would think because of that a lot of girls are that way but I'm always glad to see girls hop up and so were other guys too. It is a lot of fun, especially in games like volleyball. If more girls were like you then some guys would really drop their tudes thinking girls are so much weaker.

 

Yes! I just want to go over to those girls and ask them what their problem is. Why don't they play? It's a bunhc of fun to get down in the mud and be able to yell "I scored the winning homerun!" or something. I wonder if they've ever felt that or if they ever will. Sometimes I think that if they did play, they'd have so much fun that they'd want to keep playing and then we wouldn't have to worry about boys or girls or whatever.

 

I agree with you. Keep doing what you are and maybe it will encourage other girls to not listen to the ones that feel dirt is a mortal enemy. =:)

 

Lol. So true. I was thinking of suggesting to our teacher that we should have all girl teams and all boy teams next time. Maybe that would ease the girls into playing instead of standing and talking.

 

I have no problem with it.. unless the guys are unwilling to co-op and not chuck the ball at your face.. it's fun xD
I play with guys all the time..well back in middle school because the girls were all like stuck up and afraid to get attacked xD Co-ed is fun depending on what you play. ^^

 

That's important too. I would love to bring the Cali guys here to Utah and see if they could get the girls here to play.

That never happens in our class.We just have fun.The girls have
more fun than the boys sometime to be totally honest.

 

A lot of it depends on the guys in your class. There are a lot of good guys out there, and a lot of bad ones. If you have guys that treat girls as equals, then coed can be great. But if there are jerky guys who are showoffs and don't care about others, then coed is torture. It just depends on the situation.

 

I agree with you, Kairi_girl_92. That's why I brought up the difference of my old PE class in Cali vs the one I'm in now in Utah. The boys are total opposites. I do like Coed PE, it's just that these boys ruin it. >:P I just wanna take their dumb little heads and *grabs hammer* muahahaha!

 

I disagree. I think it's both some guys and some girls that ruin it. Doing Coed PE on the guys' side can be nervous too. It doesn't help that some girls stand against the wall smacking lips of bubble gum and acting like they smell like roses the whole period while putting people down. It doesn't help that there are some guys that act like jerks because they want attention and want to tease some girls or other guys who like the Coed option. There are people that ruin it from both genders. There are others though that make it very fun and really the problem could be fixed if gym teachers would boot out the wall flower girls and the hyped up boys with bragging issues so everyone else can enjoy themselves.

 

You're right, I was thinking from a girl's perspective. Those girls that are afraid to get sweaty are just as bad as jerky guys. And girls can be obnoxious too.

So let me rephrase what I said. It depends on what guys and/or girls you have in your class.

 

The girls at my school dont try. They just stand there. Pylons we call them. Guys in one class and girls in another would be good.

Just the other day, the girls suggested a gender war in baseball.

We won 34-0.

I have co-ed PE classes, and I have no problem with it (except the fact that it's a bit...distracting at times if you know what I mean, but I don't mind ;D). But, yeah. It's pretty annoying to see girls who just stand there not doing anything and sometimes they're in a group doing nothing but talking and gossiping. But I'm just glad to see those girls who really want to play and aren't afraid to get a little dirty and have fun. And there are also those jerky guys who thinks they're so much better then everyone else and either nags on the person who messes up on their team or makes fun of them. But maybe if they were to just have fun like everyone else, PE would be so much better.

And I wouldn't really want a class with guys only, y'know? A mix wouldn't be so bad.
