So I tried to fix up an old tag I made for entry in the next SotW. I probably won't win given all the great entries so far from team Hermes, but I still want some CnC... Some of you WILL remember this one from before, but for those who didn't see the first one i'll put that up as well. v1: v2: DIFFERENCES: In v2 I added some light in front of Sora, changed the color of the text so it's visible and obviously added more to the background. Should I fix anything or should I enter one of these into the contest straight away?
The coloring is all off in v2. Not sure how you could fix it other than b&w everything then erase the eyes to keep the blue or something. The smudging itself isn't half bad. You'll get there. Keep practicing.
v1 is much better, but try putting a duplicate of Sora on top of the original, sharpening it a bit, and smudging up the original beneath the duplicate. Right now, he's too blurry.
I think you should work on the text with this one. All the attention has gone to the text and not the image of Sora because it takes up too much space. Try to 'left allign' the text so that it's closer to Sora. Also try to mix up your font styles and font sizes. Other than good job ;D
I prefer v1, much simpler and it looks alot nicer too. I think the BG in v2 draws too much attention away from the focal point of the sig. But other than that it's pretty and vibrant
I do prefer V1 as it's simpler and I prefer the colours although I feel like there should be a bit more in the background as currently it's just black but the background on V2 just doesn't seem to fit in as well as it could. Keep it up, I do like the text font here and the colours even if it is quite big- I'd make it a bit smaller so your attention will go more to Sora than the text. I do like the line underneath, that's a nice touch. So keep it up, keep practicing.
