Lets see...Cloverfield monster: Gray skin, long tail, huge arms, a knuckle walker, black or maybe dark red eyes, 25 storys tall, a small pair of arms, three sets of small fins, dinosaur like feet, a large maw. Yeah it really does (sarcasm).

Actully the Parasites in Cloverfield responed more like the Xenomorphs in the Alien seiries.

    Never heard of it.

How the hell do you know what it looks like so well? all I notices was mouth, eyes, roundish head, and 4 arms/legs.

:/ I was gonna say somthing about that to but I didn't have enough evidence in the movie to tell how they acted, I could guess but you wuould probably throw that down as soon as I said it.

I'll find a picture of what they look like, because the bugs really do look like the parasites.

Four legs? *facepalm* My God...is every one that stupid to think that?

Let's see the parasites climb on any surface, they attack people, they do take some humans alive (as in one scene where one tried to drag Hud away), they attack people even when being shot at. Sounds like the frickin' Xenomorphs to me.

    Okay.

I watched it once and only got to see it really clearly from the news film. That was from almost directly above it and I really saw was was legs a head and a body, I thought the thing that broke the bridge was a tail but I couldn't tell for sure. >_>

Okay it's as you said their like a "frickin' Xenomorph" then. but that only adds to my comment of it not being that original.

That's a consept art of one of the types of bugs from Starship Troopers.

Again it was the tail it had one large pair of arms, a smaller pair, three small pair of fins, and two legs.

NO, I said they act like 'em...kinda...in a few ways.

That picture looks more like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c4/Tn_kumonga04.jpg

Well I never said I was right I just said that was what I saw, and I was a bit more ocupired with that it was doing than what it looked like.

    Still acted like them. :/

Acctually, no I was talking about the warrior bugs, there is more than one type of bug, like the brain bug, and the big ones that can shoot acidic stuff really far.

I'm still right about it's appearance.

Kinda of. But both Xenomorphs and the parasites act like bugs that work in a colony, ants, bees, to name a few.

    Look, you're still wrong.

Okay, I was just saying that's all I saw.

True, and you don't have to name them I know how bugs work in colonys, and alot of other cool facts about bugs too. I've seen both movies and I say the parasites look like the bugs, just smaller by half.

No, I'm not 'still wrong' because you said you haven't even seen Starship Troopers so you haven't seen the different types of bugs, how they fight and move, and work together. It's kinda arrogant to say something like that if you haven't got all the info.

Even though my point has more proof behind it.

Actually both have a fair bit of proof behind them, but either way it's really just up to the veiwers, if they did copy some things with or without noticing it or not, it's the veiwers opinions on the matter. If they liked it, that's good, if they didn't and thought it copied oh well, it's out now.

True. It's like, "If the film is about terrorism then it would be just fine but oh no! They've got crazy!"

Sure nobody complains when the thing on Discovery Channel comes out saying what was going on inside and all that but when a movie with a MONSTER (no connection to 9/11) comes and attacks the CITY (not two buildings) people freak, I mean what the crap. You just gotta ignore them, otherwise you'll facepalm you face to death, trust me with all the idiots talking about this one thing on this one site I nearly facepalmed myself to death.

True. One thing I love about Cloverfield is that it shows the army as good guys for once in film.

*shrug* well the monster could be good, you said it was a baby and was just confused, to it the army is evil. Although they did help the people the story was following, so yea it's better than most movies.
