So you mean to tell me that "Roar! (Cloverfield Overture)", the only orginal song in the movie Cloverfield, is not the theme song?

It's CALLED one, the movie really does't have a theme song, because theme songs are REOCURRING thoughout the movie, not just once at the end. They HAVE to be reocurring to be true theme songs.

    Okay, here I go!

    kikame, shut the **** up.
You have been judging me in this thread my whole entire visit, saying I play favorites, I am wrong about the parasites, and the theme song.

You need to do some damn research! ROAR! is the theme song, so just get over it. Just because it doesn’t meet the qualifications , doesn’t make it not the theme song. So will you just stop already? It couldn’t have a theme song like your talking about, because of the camera effect on the movie. Playing in the store and in the party, like twice, wouldn’t make it the theme song, because it would just be like the radio or some crap. Besides, ROAR! Is the only original song in the movie. So whatever, just piss of already.

Wow, you are so very rude. :/

If it doesn't met the qualifications it just can't be turely what it is called. If it did play in the store or at the party it could be called one, because that would make it reoccuring.

Burnitup, ANYBODY with common sence will tell you if you ask them, theme songs HAVE to be reocurring.

    Yeah, he was rude.

No, it would it just be a song, not a theme song if it played in the store and a party. And BTW, who plays a song like ROAR! at a store and at a party?

No, if it was reoccuring like that it would be. I dunno, some dark emo tattooing place? my point is it doesn't matter where, as long as it is played, hell it could have been someones cellphones ringtone long as it's reocurring

Besides, I would play Craling by Linkin Park and What's Up, People?! by Maximum the Horimone at a party if I ever had one, those are both dark songs. I love them by the way XD inside jokes rule.

Well you have been a bit rude to...we all have.

The song seemed like it was from an Opera or something. And I just don't like that idea of the theme song playing through out a movie that is in first-person, it just cuts off the realism and then its so convaluted(sp) to the point where it is just a song and not a theme song. I can get using a song that you could hear on the radio and stuff like and call it the theme to the movie only if the song is well know or something like that.

*sigh* it has to be reocurring though. :/ You know, last time I checks, a monster running around the city wasn't very realistic. Besides they could have at least make it that guy's ringtone for his cell phone, is that realistic enough for you?

Alot of songs on the radio on odd channels aren't well know but still played. You don't channel sure much do you? there's EVERYTING on the radio in terms of mucis.

    You don't get mine.

I once read a quote... "it's only by univerals misuderstanding that people agree with eachother, for if everyone was to understand that eachother meant, nobody would ever agree" or something along the lines of that, but it seems misunderstanding can be aggitating and make people argue more than need be as well. :/

    That doesn't make sense.

And my point is why would a hand held camera film would have a theme song playing mutiple times? And secondly what phone, store, or elevator has this kind of song?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4p3rM9jOdE

(I hate how people who are recording these things in the theaters always have to talk...)

*sigh* "words of knowledge get wasted on those who do not heed them" I read once, oh how I agree with that person. My post may have not held much wisdom but never the less my words are all but ignored.

Because, thast is what a theme song is, now if you thought about it, if the guy (Rod or Rig or whatever) had it on his cellphone it would make it a theme song and fit with your strange expectations. Why is it you expect so much from some things while couldn't care less about others?

arer you saying people should just tape their mouths shut when watching? I bet that's a hypocrite's statement, if you where sitty by someone you knew you are bound to at least say something. Besides it's the credits, time to pack up and leave while talking to people you know about how you liked the movie.

Umm, what? I was talking about the guys who were laughing and talking why they were illegaly(sp) taped the song.

Really, that was pretty much as simple as I could say it. :/ And what I mean is, you have very hig expectations of some things, but for other things it doesn't matter and you couldn't care less. why?

Are you saying people should just tape their mouths shut when watching? I bet that's a hypocrite's statement, if you where siting by someone you knew you are bound to at least say a little comment or two to them. Besides it's the credits, time to pack up and leave while talking to people you know about how you liked the movie. Not to mentions ake jokes of the silly parts.

They should have been born mute that would make the recorded song quality(sp) alot better. I like the credits.
