    >_> I'm a Godzilla fan, and so are some of my friends and they liked it.

Hrmm... I still think my idea would be like, the best game ever XD and you can pick the monster! there would be all the movie monsters not just CF and you would be like doing crazy stuff like car chases and bank heists! *falls over laughing* I can oddly see that, CoverField driving, Godzilla in passenger seat, in the back is Mothra and King Kong with a big bag of money!

Cloverfield could be the main character and all the other kaiju hate him because he is doing things differnt but he don't care because hes too mad skills.

edit: I finally found the message at the end of the credits and someone had reversed it like I said.

  7. I saw the movie. I freaking LOVED it!! It just kept me at the edge of my seat, and I just stood there and had to watch. I love the way the monster is present and I like the originality that it's simply a tape of a recording, and you see that the army does not really know anything yet of what the monster is. You get no backstory, you get no News reporting (except on TV a few times), you don't get a point of view of a official. It's just that, a person with the camera, and see it in the events of the victims. I liked that the ending was open-ended, is merely the end of one story of lives, while the sequel might pick up more with another set and get us the information that the first one missed. I didn't see the satellite fall (I was too busy looking at the characters), and it makes me want to watch it again, darn it. Grr xP.

I like the way it was presented. The horror of it is much more satisfying when it's actually those who are experiencing the monster's rage that we see it from. The only time I got a bit dazed was in the beginning at the party, the camera moved waaay more there than in the actual escape, in my opinion.

I didn't think the ending where they shout "I love you", was that as bad as some placed it. Rob, in the movie, even hints to Lily that Jason died knowing that she loved him. This, my friend, is something called foreshadowing (that was the best part of the film, you have to keep listening and looking around for clues. It's a blink and you miss it type of thing, so attention is needed to pick things up. And I missed the damn satellite -_-). I'm guessing that since they would think (appropiately so) that it was the end for them in the bridge on Central Park, Rob wanted to let her know before he never got the chance to, and it was quick as well. If I loved someone and I hear him saying it, I will speak as fast as I could to let him know I feel the same way before I go bye (and I was wondering when he was going to say "I love you", because it didn't make sense to me since I think part of his character and decision was not letting the relationship be left in bad terms. The only thing he managed to do was kiss her once. For a moment, I thought he will never get to say it, and it will never come out, but it did).

Nope, it's been used before, and overall the movie wasn't too original either.
    It's not working.

Yea maybe the first monster film, but the camera idea isn't anything special.

It's not really that great, it's just a big thing having a tantrum.
