Cloverfield [warning:spoilers]

Yea well sequils usually always suck, and the biggest reason it got that much was because of they hype, people wanted to know what it was and thought it looked awsome in the previews.

 

The sequals that suck are usallay(sp) comic book movies or Video Game movies. And they finally releashed a picture of the cloverfield monster! :)

 

Nope, pretty much any sequild ever made was complete crap.

I said pretty much, there are the SMALL few that are decent, but they still don't live up to the start. I still stick by what I said before too, it would kinda ruin the point and idea of CF if they made a sequil.

 

And the idea was to make a iconic giant monster for the USA.

 

That, and that they only found this one camera that recored most of how the city was destroyed. To make a sequil from another camera, or to go from a different point of view would just be pointless.

 

I would see the squal still.

You know what? The monster in cloverfeild kinda reminds me of gravemind from halo 3 and how it spawns off flood parasites...

Well, anyway, I thought godzilla was a girl, is there like movies that say it is a boy and some that say its a girl? I just heard that <_< And do you think that the monster controlled the parasite things? And I wonder if they will make it die in the sequel if there is one :\ Well, I would say that the sequel would be like a person seeing what happened, and that person was shooting the ruins with a camera, like the one used to film cloverfeild, and that they come across the monster and they find it alive? o_O wow, thats like the crappiest sequel ever. They shouldn't make one. And I still believe that ALL of the characters died, I don't care what you say. I think that Lilly's helicopter was blown to bits when the monster threw something, and that the two people at the end died becuase of the bomb. And whats up with all these 'Zilla' theorys?

I dunno, in the amreican godzilla it was a hermaphodite because it layed all those eggs, and like you said in some films it was a guy in some a girl...hmm..

I think a sequil would ruin it and there isn't really any way to make a good one, and if they do make a good one...well don't sue me.

Hmm...I don't think it could control them, their just parasites so they probably just follow their instincts.

Yea, there isn't really a way those three could have lived, I'm pretty sure Lily's helicopter got hit, and there is no way tose two could live after haveing a bridgfe collaps on them and a bomb go off.

 

yeah, a sequel wouldnt really make sense. i really liked the way they did the little ones, and thought it was really cool. i think the way the camera was also added some suspense to it.

 

Thank you. Seriously, first of all how did that girl even make it to the hellicopter with the state she was in? Then to survive after the crash, wow. Plus the bomb would destroy them. I think the monster died, if it didn't then the director has to be insane with the power of a god-damned monster thing. It was a good movie to me overall, but I don't think they would even have to tell you what happened in the end, boom bomb hits, what else is going to happen, they sorta miss, and it lands in the water? And lets hope to god that that thing dosn't have any relatives or anything like it, cuz that would be the sequel. Brother monsters hand in hand, destroying the united states, one state at a time, and they get bombed all the time, yet they still survive. <_< Jesus christ.

 

Exactly, there really isn't any way in my mind that could be good for a sequel.

The camera was good but it annoyed me a bit, I mean I know the guy is scared but I mean if he's standing still you think he could film just a little better
