It could have been traped in ice.

I wouldn't think so, the chance of ice underwater is unlikely unless at one of the poles, and if that part at the end was what got it ticked off then then chances of ice being there are absolutely zero.

Well ever heard of a film called The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms? A dinosaur called The Rhedosaurus roamed around the soon to be Artic and got frozen and got awoken by a neclear test by the USA.

Not possible, the only thing in our world that can freeze and then literally come back from the dead is a type of frog, and only two things can survive nuclear radiation, rats and cockroaches.

By the look of it the Cloverfield monster isn't any of those three.

Not everything has to be realtic, thats why we have movies. And the Cloverfiled monster is a baby in appearance and in mind. And plus the film takes place in 2009 or so I heard.

Right so a satellite which fell into the sea (which is the popular theory) hit a block of ice, which must of been fricking huge in the first place, though Ice does tend to float, so the beast would of most likely been floating on the ocean, and the only way it would of stayed frozen would be if it was in the North or South Pole. But that isn't likely is it. =/

True, but even you said the parts that stay with reality make the movie even better.

Exactly my point, it couldn't have been traped in ice, and even if it was, I don't see how it would still be alive after being frozen solid.

True and I said some parts, I don't say 'That isn't real' or 'That could never happen' in movies, I mean look at Transformers, it was a great movie and had things that HAVE nothing to do with reality and I still loved the film.

What do you mean nothing to do with reality? it had alot do do with it, study up burnitup, the people aren't floating in zero-g on earth, explisions still push things back, every action had a equal and opposite reaction, and all that other stuff to do with reality I'm to lazy to type. But this is alittle off topic now.

I could care less, my point was that not every movies have to be real if they were they would all be the same in differnt ways.

*facepalm* you really don't see ANYTHING in movies that ties into reality at all? I never said movies have to follow the rules or reality BUT I DID say that they have alot of point that DO tie in, try looking a little harder next time. Cloverfield has some pretty unblelivabe things, but in the end, all in all, it has alot of parts that make sence and would happen in reality.

I really don't care if you have a dissorder or not, I don't treat people differently because of it. I was saying that you said Transfromers has no relation to reality and that's not true, but now can we get back on topic?

The Mist looks kinda insteresting, I haven't seen it yet though, so I can't really say if it's better or worse than CF, the others sound kinda boring.
