Look, it's just TLK has done alot for me, and well, CF has done nothing but pass some time. Like I said, you could never understand it.

What does that have to do with anything? I don't care who's monster it is. I think you're stereotyping me a bit to much.

Nope I just don't like people bashing good movies that are not for them in the first place.

I did kinda enjoy it, I was just saying The Lion King has taught me alot anf helped me get though something really really hard.... anyway cloverfield is good but it is just people running away scared, no morals, no lessons, just GTFO of there if you notice even the slightest trace of a monster roaming the city. And you would think that's common sence anyway.

No, it shows people who are people in a crisis sitiution and are being realistic in that sense.

And you said reality is boring. :/ but whatever way you interterprate it, simple, complex, whatever, for me it still just isn't quite that perfect movie.

For you what makes a movie good?

    Hahahahahaha!!!!

Why? It doesn't even have a message of any kind for a kids movie, Happy Feet is a kids movie that actully has a messahe.

You can be a jerk sometimes, so I like kids movies an R rated movies, is that really that hard to believe?

Excuse me? TLK not having a message? That movie got me though so much crap from two simple things, then there's more to learn from it than just that. Unlike Cloverfield where it's just stuff happening and people daling with it like most people would. :/ CloverField has no messages, it's entertainment but it doen't teach much. If anything it brought back awful memories for me.

For your information I find some R rated movies very enjoyable, like Pan's Labyrinth, it is rated R despite what you may think. I've also watched 2 of the Saw movies, oh and I'm defiantly gonna see Sweeney Todd, Tim Burton movies are AWESOME

What's that spost to mean exactly?

    Alright, goodnight.

So now that you kids are done.

After watching the movie again I must say that the overall design of the monster is rather disapointing.

It's preety much an alien like head.
    A body.
    Two HUGE front legs
    two smaller back legs
    and a long ass tail.

The hype for this movie was bullshit though. The part where the monster attacks the helicopter is hit by the monster, that was epic. The movie is pretty much screaming and the camera moving (which gives me a bad case of nausia, not even blair witch was this nausiating). Really there is no point in getting the DVD, what makes the experience SO exciting is watching it with a crowd, alone is to boring.

Also the Cloverfield monster is NOTHING compared to The Giant Claw.

    IT'S A ****ING GIANT EAGLE!

I agree, the monster was a disappointment for me to, maybe that's why then never gave a really good shot of it. It was alright but it could have been better. The crowd when I went to watch it did nothing, the only funny part is when a lady screamed when the little things attacked.

People are saying it was the best movie ever but I don't really see that in this.

Hmm, I agree with you Kikame, it didn't teach you anything, but yeah that one scene in the helicopter was the most epic part of the whole movie. I hated the whole shaking the camera part, it was just too nauseiating and i thought it was pointless, others are all like, YES but it gave a feeling of realism, and all i ahve to say is, all you see most of the time is the camerea shaking and it poisnting at the ground.... but besides all that it was an ok movie

Yea, when you finally think it's down BAM helicopter starts going down.

It didn't bother me at all, but I would have liked it to be a bit more still. Amature filmer or not, even I could hold a camera stiller than that.
