"Oh....Ok then"she smiled,skipping to the sofa,climbing onto it

 

"Should we check on him?" Lake asked, looking up at Mickey.

 

"I'll go"he said"Hopefully this teaches him a lesson: Dont mix your alchol....you know he has a habbit of that."

 

"Okay." Lake nodded. "He'll learn sooner or later, I hope anyway."

 

Mickey headed upstairs and into the bathroom,only to find his son curled up in a ball next to the tolit,his cheek pressed against the cold floor,his breathing slow and relaxed,Mickey rolled his eyes,the boy could sleep through world war III if he wanted too,"River..."he whispered

He twitched "what?"

"You cant lie in here....people need in and out...go back your bed if your that ill...not that it doesnt serve you right...what did we tell you last night about mixing vodka with WKD?"

He shrugged "am I supposed to remeber ?"he muttered

 

Hermia opened her eyes and squinted towards the bathroom, the speech echoing in her ears.

 

"River..."Mickey sighed "Maybe you just need something to eat...it has been 24-hours since you last ate....I've got eggs and ba-"he winced as River quickly dunked his head into the tolit"Con..."he continued"Or not....Come on...up you get..."

River slowly got up,as if everything was taking a great amount of energ from him

 

She slowly pushed herself up again, ruffling her hair and yawning loudly. The extra couple of minutes sleep had done her a lot of good, she could now open her eyes and not cringe.

 

"This is your fault you know..."Mickey was saying as he followed River into his room,whom promptly collasped on his bed again"Hi Hermia...how are you feeling this mornning?"

 

"Could be better..." She mumbled, rubbing her eyes sleepily. "Don't feel as rough as I did when I woke up the first time though..."

 

"atleast your not puking too...creeps me out when people do that..."

River groaned,covering his face with his hands,pressing the heels into his eyes muttering under his breath that sounded like "Shut up dad..."

 

"I'm not vomiting if I can help it." She said definitely. "It's disgusting..."

 

"I know..."he shuddered

 

"Do you know anything that works as a hang over cure..?" She asked, rubbing her eyes. Her head still pounding with what felt like the beat of a million battle drums.

 

He shook his head"My mum always made them and after I got to sixteen she stopped saying it would teach me a lesson.....but she's coming round today...I can ask her to bring some round."

 

"Okay..." Hermia nodded slightly.

 

"Oh and If you two are gonna....you know.....make sure Elena isnt around...we dont want to scar her for life."


"Geez dad do you think I totaly irrersponsible?"River asked sitting up flushing slightly red

 

Hermia instantly blushed bright, bright red. They knew? Oh god, everything had just gotten twenty times more awkward and embarassing.

 

He chuckled"Just a warning....and next time....make sure you look decent...like you've had a conversation or something....not like...I dunno...someones just beaten you up...was kinda obvious when your buttons are all wrong."

 

Hermia nodded quickly, she just wanted the ground to swallow her up right then and there. Could anything be more awkward than being told how to cover up your escapades by the father of your accomplice?
