"Yeah, well... Shush..." Jacob said, looking away from everyone. He had the aura around him of someone with a great deal of egg on their face.

"Oh my god, the boy is actually speechless for once." Casey chuckled, ruffling his grandson's hair affectionately. "Must be a sign of the end of the world." He grinned.

"Oh will you shut up..." Jacob muttered, shoving his arm away. "Lemme alone..."

Elena giggled

 

"Bless him." He chuckled, patting his head once more before sitting more upright in his seat. "Anyway, what happened?"

 

"Same old same old...Vampires want us dead Danny and Blaise are back"

 

"How they keep coming back is beyond me." Casey sighed, slumping back again. "I'm guessing you guys have got some back up? It's not just you guys fighting against the entire Vampire race and it's minions again."

 

"Yeah...we have the pleasure of Elena's d!ck of an ex-boyfriend and his family."

 

"And River and that are just generally being quite horrible to him." Hermia sighed as she stepped off of the final stair.

 

what do you expect? she's my sister, want me to be all ' Oh no...come on into our lives...weforgive your for ripping her heart out and stepping all over it!'"he rolled his eyes at th exact same time Elena rolled hers

 

"Elena doesn't seem that bothered by it." Hermia said, indicating Elena's irritation about River's reaction. "I'm not saying what he did wasn't wrong, it's just I think it's about time you guys let it go."

"Please...please if theres a god...Mum and dad will come in and say after almost 30 years that there was a mix up at the hospital and they got the wrong baby!"

 

Hermia reached up and smacked him over the head. "Knock it off, or I'll knock you out." She said sweetly.

"Good boy River." She smiled, patting his head. Treating him as one would treat a pet puppy.

 

He grinned

"Most likely." She giggled. "He's a good boy."
