Elena giggled,crossing her legs,she sat with a mirror in on hand,tweezers in the other and a very consentrated look on her face as she 'fixed' her eyebrows,she had this thing where they had to be thin and neat

 

"And that's why he's not allowed to get sh*tfaced too often." Hermia nodded.

 

"Yeah....she's only allowed it to once a month now..."he sighed dramaticaly


"I swear River...your an Alcoholic...you just wont admitt it."

"Says you whose 'Never' been tipsy never mind drunk."he said rolling his eyes

 

"I don't usually drink either." Hermia said. "I drank on River's 18th and that was it. Never again, the hang over and the embarrassment nearly killed me."

 

"Oh yeah! I remeber being told about that" Aj grinned


"I dont wanna know!"

"Good.you keep your secrets....Ill keep mine.."

 

"You don't want to know, I'm sure." Hermia giggled slightly.

 

"Anyway...I wanna know about last night....Adam stayed? did he sleep in your room? He better not have Elena....Dad'll freak...you know how he is with guys....anyway....did you give him a little good night kiss?"River grinned

"Oh grow up River, please"she said,rolling her eyes,pink flashing across her cheeks" And FYI Adam didnt sleep in my room ok?"

 

"I blame us for the lack of mixed genders in the same room." Hermia said, looking shifty. A sly grin on her face. "So, have you figured out if he likes you too or not?" She asked, unabashedly intruding on her boyfriend's younger sister's privacy.

 

"Of course he doesnt, we're friends...Just friends"she said pulling her hair around to hide her blush

 

"Yeah, because you totally blush this much when we talk about Raye." Hermia cackled, a smug grin on her face.

 

"River....whats....Imprinting like?"

 

"Interesting question." Hermia said, looking at her and raising an eyebrow slightly.

 

"why?"He asked biting his lip trying not to laugh

"No reason"she said quickly

 

"Just tell her." She giggled slightly.

 

"Its...Uh...well its probably the best thing that can happen to a werewolf...it really brings people togther...though it hurts like hel to be away from your object of imprintation..."

 

"Don't call me an object." Hermia said, slapping his arm playfully.

"It's like the world stops spinning on it's axis and suddenly starts spinning around the other person... Like gravity shifts and it's now them holding you to the planet... Like you're the only two in the entire universe that matters any more and even the idea of anything happening to that other person is agonizing pain..." Jacob muttered, just loud enough to be heard. He was looking away from the rest of the group, his bright eyes turned skywards.

 

He grinned "Sorry."

"Ha-have you imprinted Jake?"

 

He shook his head after a moment and looked at his cousin. "Nah, I'm still on my own. Well, I'm un-imprinted. It makes dating rather hard though, because you know there's no future but the other half doesn't." Jacob sighed. "It's only a matter of time though, and when it happens you know it."

Hermia giggled and looked back at her. "It's like an earthquake when it hits you, there's no mistaking it."

"I'm just a bit of a romantic at heart, hence my rant." He chuckled, rubbing his nose with a slightly abashed expression.

 

she smiled at him "Any girlfriend of your will be lucky to have you Jacob...and if she hurts you....im ripping her face off."she said matter-of-factly.no questions asked.

"Have you Imprinted on Adam Elly?"


"Um.."

 

"Oh, that's so a yes." Hermia giggled, smiling slightly at her.
