City of Rogues

Cyn picked up the phone at that exact second. She had spies everywhere.
"President," she said, leaning against the table the phone had originally been placed on. "There has been a massive massacre over by the buildings that belong to the Gemaine Company (that random company that Cyn's dad works for). They say it was done by someone, and I found out who that person was." She pressed a button on her laptop, sending the email over to the news reporter person.
"It was Zaiuku," she said.
OOC: The easiest way to promote a murderer.

 

Leon had walked a long way from his work wondering how he could take a picture of a killer if he is the killer. He then remember he bought a warehouse for some of his hornets to live. He then ran quickly so he could talk to them (He talks to hornets.) he got to the warehouse and checked the area carefully so that no one was around he then went into the warehouse.

 

The Gemmaine building in Bludhaven had been burned to the ground. To top it all off, a whole bunch of people had been killed by bees. Must just be a lucky day, Mr. Nobody thought grimly. Judging by the nature of the killings, and the fact that normal hornets simply didn't live in bludhaven, Mr. Nobody guessed that they were unconnected.

But he didn't have time to think about that, because the sirens were slowly approaching. That meant police. And the police didn't like Mr. Nobody. They thought he was "Disturbing the peace". As mr. Nobody turned and ran into the alley, He couldn't help but smile at how the police spent more time chasing him than most criminals. They hadn't caught him yet, and they wouldn't catch him any time soon.

 

Leon was in the warehouse yelling, "Great just great! How can I get a picture of a killer if I am the killer!?" three of the hornets flew in front of him buzzing around then he said, "You sure it will work?" the hornets started to buzz again and he said, "Yes that will work take a picture of myself by timeing it and hide it as I controll you all thank you." then he walked out of the warehouse locking it. But the windows were always open so the hornets can get out.

 

Cyn suddenly lifted her head. She had a pair of earphones on, and she got a report that Mr. Nobody was about. She smirked.
Donning her veil, shirt, and skirt, she unsheathed her claws and ran to confront him. He was in one of the alleyways. Tapping into her power, she suddenly seem to appear in front of him, flashing her claws in an aggressive manner.

 

The hornet that was following Cyn was in her apartment it then flew out a open window Leon was just ouside of her apartment complex the hornet flew in front of his face and he followed it and he said to it, "What are you doing here I told you to watch her?" the hornet started to buzz around him and he said, "She is hmmm, well maybe I have to get close to her." the hornet buzzed around faster and he said, "Yes like a relationship." it buzzed around more and he said, "What? No not like that like freinds, but if it comes to that then yes." the hornet buzzed more. "Silents, go back to the warehouse i'll be there in a few hours." Leon said then the hornet flew away.

 

Mr. Nobody had been walking into an alleyway when he got that gut feeling. He was being watched. On top of that, the sirens were getting louder and closer. And so, Mr. Nobody continued walking, although at a brisker pace into the alleyway. He had goten about halfway down it when she appeared in front of him. She wore a grey veil on her face, and she had long, menacing claws. As soon as she appeared, Mr. Nobody compulsively put his hands in his pockets, drew his pistols and turned the safety off.

It didn't take a genius to figure out who she was and what she had done, so Mr. Nobody got right to the point.

"I'll start by saying this probably isn't the best place to do this. The police are on their way. As incompetent as they are, they have numbers and LOTS of weapons." Mr. Nobody listened and heard a whirring noise on top of the sirens. "Sounds like they've even got helicopters. Either way, if they catch us we're both as good as dead. We should probably get out of here, and soon."

 

Leon walked away from ware he talked to his hornet then he walked into the apartment complex and stated to walk up the stairs and every one beleaved Leon he was a good lier so he could get this person to beleave him but it miet be hard to do so he stop and looked around and started walking again.

 

"I can easily out run them," Cyn said, shaking her head. She was careful to disguise her voice, so that Mr. Nobody couldn't guess who she was. "I just wanted to see how strong you are." She stepped back a bit and said, "We will fight here. The person who wins doesn't get caught, the person who doesn't... well... you can guess." She gestured to the growing sound of sirens and helicopters.

 

Brrring...

Brrring...

Brrrring...

"Mm?" answered a seductive female voice.

"We've got a job for you." This voice emerged through the phone's speaker as if from deep underwater; a voice-synthesizer made it near-impossible to know whether the speaker was male or female.

"I'm listening." The female speaking had her feet up on a worn wooden desk; the last fading rays of the sunset backlit her silouhetted form. She was garbed in a white tee-shirt and dark jeans, with a perfectly-tailored black jacket and silver scarf.

"Have you been watching the news?"

"Get to the point," the female ordered. "I don't have all night." Ruby red sunrays painted her jet-black hair with flaming streaks as she dropped her feet to the hardwood floor, leather boots making a harsh smack against it as she leaned forward over the desk, phone casually at her ear.

There was a laugh on the other end of the line. "Have you heard of... Zaiuku?"

The female didn't deign to answer.

"We want her."

"How much?" came the nonchalant query.

A sigh, sounding like a burst of static through the synthesizer. "One hundred thousand dollars."

"Dead or alive?"

"Preferably alive."

"Mm." The female's mind was already working. Her prospective employer was indoubtably connected somehow to the company Zaiuku had razed; the flames were visible even from her section of the city. She glanced down at the computer screen in front of her; it had already traced the call to the private line of one of the prominent business owners of Bludhaven. "I'll contact you when I want to be paid."

"Now wait just a minute, Jade-!"

Jade dropped the phone onto the receiver with a click and stretched her arms over her head. It was time to go hunting.

OOC: I'd like to apologize in advance for my tendency to treat every RPG like a story. This is all in italics because it serves as the prolog for my character's entrance.

 

OOC: Nice intro. :D I always liked RPs that are treated like stories. Heh... Zaiuku is promoted to "wanted villain"! Woot!

Leon got to Cyn apartment he open the door not even knocking he walked a little and looked out a window to see her in some sort of costum he had know idea who it was and there was a man he never heard or seen before he heard the sirens and the helicopters comeing he pulled a device out of his suit and pressed a button. In a few seconds the once sirens and helicopter sounds were replaced with loud buzzing and sceaming. Leon quickly changed into Dr. Salavador then he put down the case that always had his cainsaw he opened it and started it up he put his cothing in to the case hide it in the hallway as his army of hornets savagely torn througe every thing.

 

Cyn looked up and saw her apartment being ripped up. Her eyes blazed with anger. There were the hornets.
"Excuse me, but I have someone to maim," she said, giving Mr. Nobody a mocking bow. She turned and raced off to go and confront the person.
Walking up the stairs of the apartment, she saw millions of hornets... and... a new person. He was swinging around a cainsaw, and acting all maniacal. Cyn smirked and twirled her claws around. Nice taste.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, still disguising her voice. She zipped through the hornets and suddenly was in front of the man, glaring daggers at him through her veil. No one could see through the veil, only Cyn could.

 

Dr. Salavador looked at her and said in a voice she would not know, "I am what i'm here to do kill inocents. They now feel the pain of the lives they have ruin." soon hornets covered his whole body and burst there was noone the soon all the hornets left the area.

 

Cyn was disconcerted. In a matter of seconds, she rescued all she could that wasn't destroyed by the hornets (curse them) and ran off with them. In a bar, she managed to run through without anyone seeing her, and entered the bathroom, still invisible. When she can out, she was normal again. Throwing her jacket over her shoulder, she walked out into the night, ignoring the sirens that blared throughout the entire city. Evil reigned supreme again.

 

Mr. Nobody cursed. The police had been busying themselves in the werckage, and were starting to come this way. He didn't know where the woman was, but he was going to hunt her.

But first, he was going to have to get away from the police. And so, he ran, only to find that the police were swarming around there, too. To top it all off, they were coming towards him.

"It's Fun time," MR. Nobody thought sarcastically as he aimed and pulled the trigger.

 

Cyn watched as a CAUTION tape was put around the apartment, burning buildings, dead bodies, and other such things. Her sharp ears could hear gunshots over the roar of sirens and helicopters. The recent events were too close to her home, and who was the hornet controller?
She walked down the street, kicking a rock along the way. Good thing the cash she stashed in her apartment never was destroyed.
Walking to a nearby hotel, she got herself a room. From her window, she could watch everything that happened. Her eyes saw someone shooting, and she smirked. Mr. Nobody was having a hard time.

 

On a wall next to Mr. Nobody was a hornet with a small camera on it's back watching him and at the warehouse full of hornets Leon as watching him studying him and he said, "Hmmm two unknow heros if they are well i'll let them play hero for a waile. Hahahahaha!" the hornets started to buzz around .

 

In the parking garage of the office building, Jade snapped her cell phone shut and threw her leg over her motorcycle. She gunned the engine and sped through the door and onto the street. Night had fallen by now; no stars were visible in the sky through the haze of electric lights.

She'd just received a call from one of her informants; an unknown female matching the description of Zaiuku had been seen leaving an apartment building now under police survillence. Jade could feel the cold blade of her combat knife pressed against her calf inside her boot, and the comforting weight of her hold-out pistol against her right forearm. They were among her favorite weapons. She screeched to a halt against the back wall of the apartment building and yanked her keys out of the ignition.

With the police milling about outside, Jade calmly made her way around teh wreckage and glanced around. The police seemed to be involved in some kind of standoff with an unknown male; she acknowledged his presence, then made her way to the abandoned security desk. Unnoticed amongst all the shouting, sirens, and gunshots, Jade pulled up the video footage from mere minutes ago.

After a few seconds of rewinding, she paused the black-and-white tape and hit "play", studying the tiny images carefully.

A female matching the last known description of Zaiuku left the apartment building; she watched the officers for a moment, then moved on down the street, out of the camera's range. Jade reset the security cameras to exactly how they had been before she had arrived and went back out onto the sidewalk, looking down the way Zaiuku could have gone.

The closest possible building in sight was a hotel. Zaiuku must be there.
