Church of England Sues Sony

i think the church IS overreacting but their concerns aren't unfounded. that's becuz video games have been known to affect people's minds. like the company that made GTA made a game that made ppl crazy (Manhunt i think?) with an explicit torture scene. then ppl killed each other in the same fashion as in the game. also, it got so bad that the game was recalled and discontinued. so their reactions aren't COMPLETELY over the edge

 

I guess Sony said sorry for causing offense, which is fair enough, but I agree with the last thing Sony said in the last paragraph.

 

That's so stupid! It's a game that has good and evil in it!

Sure, it's extremely violent, but so will the Tribulation mentioned in the book of Revelation.

 

Sounds like one heck of an over reaction to me. I mean...it's a place, and a place of worship at that...so why is the church acting like it's some sort of a brand name? I think they should just accept Sony's apology and back down...it's a pointless thing to argue over.
