    Well duh...XD

Dude, just look at Christmas. It used to be a pagaan holiday where men would gather and gives gifts to each other, get drunk and have sex...

The only things that have changed about this world are the tools we use, the clothes we wear, and the way the demons of the world take their form.

I think you meant to say psycho... :P

And Americans are totally spoiled, but because of that we have the freedom and power to become atheists. XD

Heh, The_King should just post in every thread ever, it would make it vastly more interesting to read these threads, I love ignorant people, they're pure entertainment.

Well anyway King, saying that christianity is a myth isn't attacking you, its stating an opinion. If you dislike that opinion, ooooowellllll thats your **** to work out. =P

Also, you're egomaniacal, egocentric, conceded and stuck up. I'd work on those before posting anymore because it won't be welcomed with open arms.

This right here should be used as a reference to stop someone whenever they get nagging desire to create a 'God Vs Science' debate.

Our president happens to be a fundamental Christian, Kingdom-Fan. Why you made this comment, I cannot even fathom. It boggles the mind. He has gone so far as to more rally Christians to the causes by saying things religious to motivate his cause and most are the older people who can't even do anything but be armchair warriors. Atheists and others are not against the world. His war has nothing to do with Atheists. It has been brought about for a number of reasons, and being non-religious is certainly not one of them. Have you even seen the TV where he speaks out and says stuff about God and trying with some Islamic followers to show that their God isn't a different one?

Also, I disagree that Americans are spoiled anymore than Europeans are. If anything, some European countries have it better than we do. You get free eduction, health care and such, while we rack up loans for education that can be around 30k to 50k, which must be paid back, and health care costs are amazing. Children may get spoiled by things they can have but I fail to see what we have others don't. My dad worked 12 hour days constantly for 6 days a week. I have worked my butt off since 16 and always had a job since 12, even if it was babysitting and mowing lawns and delivering papers. Many people work at young ages to support themselves because parents can't always make as much money and both parents have to work. Kids are stuffed in daycares now. So some kids (which certainly wasn't me or a great number of others) get great toys, but as adults that all changes and reality sets in that we all have to get up and do hard labor. Especially since morons sent our jobs elsewhere and keep racking up the cost of living so that people can't even afford to live on their own with many of the jobs that are left, and they don't always get health care benefits.

What is implied here directly is that Americans are no more spoiled than any European country which has some things better and some things worse. No place is a Utopia and we don't just have it all easier. We all manage to have our problems with the governments we are in, people that try to dodge the systems of things and take the easy way etc. Give Americans a break. We aren't all stupid and lazy fat idiots that refuse to learn other languages, fail in school, and have no ambitions. Also, most atheists and people of other beliefs don't fall into the other negative connotations that people from other countries say. It'd be nice if people had actual proof of statements instead of making blanket calls of prejudice. There are some crappy Americans out there, but there are also some crappy Europeans and crappy Asians and crappy Africans etc. How about meeting some of us good people instead and changing that bias?

Interesting how America is quite the multi-cultural country though. Granted it's not as multi-cultural as Canada, but it's still pretty multi-cultural. With that in mind racism wouldn't apply. A proper interpretation of that statement would be to have it refer to American/ north American culture-- everything is large and luxurious.

Alright, well here's my input: it is a well thought-out argument. I'll give you that. I am a Christian, but I can't exactly say I'm really offended by what you're saying, just concerned and saddened. I shall definitely start praying for you, because there is nothing more painful in this life than to have that hollow-like pain inside of you knowing God's not in your heart. Believe me when I say that I HAVE BEEN IN THAT SITUATION, and it is not at all a good feeling. I know you may scoff at me, but that is not going to stop me. Anyway, my point is, no, I'm not going to argue with Atheists and try to prove them wrong or anything like that, I'll just do my best to help them find Jesus, because like you said, we humans just want to assist each other as best we can. And one last thing, you can say whatever you want (because God gave us a wonderful gift of freedom of choice) to try silencing me, but I WILL NEVER, EVER STOP WORSHIPPING, PRAISING, OR LOVING MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do appreciate your kindness, IJ.

It's not that I don't believe in God. I am not Atheist, mate. I actually do believe in a god. Just not your god, necessarily. I believe that God is definitely something, like a force that is driving towards success and developement, but I don't necessarily think he is much like us.

So, again, I believe in God, but only to an extent, as that is as much as I can interpret being just human. Limited knowledge is what I mean.

(Also, Jesus has and never will be in my heart; not to offend anyone, but I don't believe he ever existed. His life and the events that took place within it have been repeated throughout history by other saviors, ages before him. So please understand that). (:

Again, thank you for the answer. I can certainly tell you care. :3

Oh, you're welcome. I'm glad you -for lack of a better word- enjoyed my comment. ^_^ And I'm not entirely sure how to respond to how you view God. I guess it's like...well, in the Bible it says He created us in His image, but on the other hand, we are far from being like him because He loves everybody no matter what happens and He is completely without flaws. No human could ever be like that. Lastly, I know you say you don't believe in Jesus, which doesn't offend me, it just, once again, saddens me. Even so, I will pray for you! Not to offend you... :)

Well that's another thing that makes me not-quite Christian and not-quite Atheist. I love the idea that a 'being' created everything. But if you really look into the history of the religion no one really followed what he said, really. He says not to kill, but back in the times of the renaissance the Pope would kill armies to conquer cities. You see what I mean? I know you're Christian and you do believe in God, and it's great. I mean, we should all view it on how we think it is. And the fact people make the assumptions about who he is, like priests, pastors, missionaries, etc... You know what I mean. It's just a human-influenced religion that I'd rather not bother with. =P But hell, if you're as nice this way as you are in real life about it, you are sure impressive. I hardly ever meet a totally respective Christian such as yourself. And I'm not saying that most are that way, but a lot are. At least from personal experience.

Well I'm a person of logical and evidential belief. I've seen the history of Jesus, the history of Moses, the history of Horus, etc.. The general history of many saviors. And I just have to come to some kind of conclusion that he as a person or as a messiah never existed. And I thank you for respecting that. =D And yes, I completely agree, no human could ever be as loving and as great as a god.

Yeah, see, I really don't like the whole crusade thing either. It always bugs me. Whenever I find a Christian who inspires me, it's definitely not someone who goes and just kills off those who don't believe in God. That is totally the wrong way to handle things. And also, it's just plain murder in my opinion, and murder is one of those sins God just loathes. Heck, if one of those maniac-type Christians knew what I think about this whole thing, they'd probably want to kill me off too. But if you want to save the world from Satan, you don't send people to hell or something by killing them, but rather save them from it by talking things out and helping them to make a good choice. I'm most certainly not saying that you or anyone else here will go to hell, because only God is the judge of that, just to clear things up there. But anyway, thanks for saying I'm impressive. It really means a lot to me. I've just learned to really look at things through the perspective of others and try to understand why they have these opinions and not be overly aggressive when there is something I don't completely agree with.

I know. I absolutely HATE the idea of people killing each other just because they can't see eye to eye on religion. It's messed up and immature. Not to mention highly unnecessary.

Tough question. The Da Vinci code says that Jesus had a son with Mary Magedelen, and Da Vinci secretly coded this in his artworks to show this. Although this is Fictional, there is still some meaning to it. This could be true, and there could be someone who is a decendent of Jesus

First of all, Jesus probably never existed.

Secondly, all of the "codes" have been debunked.
