Very few earth benders can bend metal, and sand bending is another specialized form of earth bending I believe.

I choose metal bending as an element of itself even though there's no good reason for it to be that way, since metal is just minerals from the Earth.

Actually, if my theory is correct, all bending stems from Earthbending. So you're an Earthbender no matter what you pick.

Actually, all bending stems from a different source. Earthbending is from badger moles. Waterbending is from the moon. Firebending is from dragons. Airbending is from Sky Bison.

Oh, yeah. That completely covers up the fact that you're still wrong. If you're speaking of composition, then let's look at fire as an example. It's created by harnessing your inner chi and heat to force it out of your body. Not seeing anything related to Earthbending there. Earthbenders use solid will to manipulate the Earth, not force gravel out of them.

 

I meant that I'm not talking about the various explanations for bending in the series. Sorry if I was unclear.

Now if you consider my theory on why Firebenders can Lightningbend, then it all makes sense. Continuing from that, water vapor exists in the air, and thus when Airbenders Airbend they must as a result be bending the water vapor, showing that Airbending must stem from Waterbending. Finally, Earthbenders can bend the Earth but as a result bend whatever miniscule amount of water is in the earth. Therefore, Waterbending, like Metalbending, is a more refined form of Earthbending and thus stems from it. All Benders are Earthbenders.

 

Fine then, looks like I got to tell the Sailor Senshi something... and the WITCH girls... and countless other shows concerning elemental powers.
